Before and after yesterday’s sold-out live episode of iMPACT! from Orlando, Florida’s Full Sail University, TNA Wrestling taped matches and segments for future shows. The company has another taping session scheduled this Friday night. Check back for TNA spoilers from that taping as well.
TNA iMPACT! Spoilers from February 20th
Matches and Segments taped before last night’s live Impact (some matches may have been taped for Xplosion):
- Tasha Steelz def. Maggie Lee
- The Great Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch) def. Laredo Kid and Cody Deaner
- Mance Warner vs. Sami Callihan – match result was uncertain on a no-contest or DQ finish. Following the match, Santino Marella booked a follow-up for the two at Sacrifice in a few weeks.
- Mike Santana def. Oro Mensah
- Steve Maclin def. KC Navarro with Eric Young present. After the match, Maclin cut a promo about his history with Full Sail during his time as WWE’s Steve Cutler.
Taped after last night’s live Impact:
- Tessa Blanchard def. Kelsey Heather. Blanchard would have been fired if she hadn’t wrestled.
- The System was present as Moose cut a promo complaining about his recent pinfalls at the hands of Jeff Hardy. The group was interrupted by Eddie and Orlando Colon, who came out when Brian Myers mentioned them by name. The Colons and the System seemed to suggest the two groups could work together.
- Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat) def. The Elegances. Ash and Heather By Elegance will be Luna & Threat’s “personal concierges” for 24 hours because of their loss. It’s unclear if Spitfire’s Knockouts Tag titles were on the line.
- Frankie Kazarian defeated Ace Austin with Wes Lee on commentary, and Tyson and Tyriek by his side. Austin got distracted by Tyson and Tyriek leading to Kazarian getting the win. Lee, Tyson, and Tyriek attacked Austin after the match until Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz made the save.
- Ryan Nemeth came out to the stage to inform the fans it is 15 days until Nic Nemeth is back.
- The System (TNA X Division Champion Moose, Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards) def. NXT Champion Oba Femi & TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys. Joe Hendry, The Colons, and Elijah got involved in an in-ring brawl after the match. Santino Marella came to the stage and announced Jeff Hardy vs. Moose in an X-Division Title Ladder Match at Sacrifice, due to Hardy having pinned Moose in recent matches. He also announced The System and The Colons vs. Joe Hendry, Matt Hardy, and three names of their choosing in a 10-man tag at Sacrifice. Reasonable to expect some NXT names might be in the mix here.
