Former AEW Star Ricky Starks Makes Debut on WWE NXT

Ricky Starks Officially Joins NXT Next Week, Promising “Absolute Truth” in the Process

“Say his name, and he appears,” has become the calling card for Joe Hendry but perhaps the opposite can be said for NXT’s newest star Ricky Starks, who has yet to say his name. Nonetheless, Starks has appeared and on Wednesday, it was announced that he will be formally signing his NXT contract.

A pre-recorded promo from Ricky Starks aired during Saturday night’s Vengeance Day where Starks promised that he’ll have answers to the fans’ questions when he arrives at NXT this Tuesday. Starks promised “in the middle of that ring, I’m going to be signing my official NXT contract, and then you’re going to have the absolute truth from the man himself.”

That’s definitely going to get people buzzing.

Ricky Starks made his NXT debut last week when he was spotted among the crowd just one day after his official release from AEW was granted. Fans chanted his name but Starks nor the announcers used it in the midst of his debut. That had people talking on if Starks, who owns his ring name, would be using it in WWE or if he would receive one of the new names the company just recently trademarked. Guess fans will learn the answer to that along with some other questions, this Tuesday night.
