WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2025 Results & Highlights

The show kicks off with a promo package reminiscing on past Vengeance Day events, as well as hyping up this event.

Fallon Henley (c) vs. Stephanie Vaquer [NXT Women’s North American Championship Match]

This NXT Women’s North American Championship match between Fallon Henley and Stephanie Vaquer kicks off the festivities at the CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C. Scattered around the crowd, we have Jaida Parker, Kelani Jordan, and Karmen Petrovic.

Despite Fatal Influence’s presence right outside the ring, this was mostly a one-on-one affair. Eventually, Jazmyn Nyx and Jacy Jayne became involved but not too much to cause a disqualification. Vaquer prevailed despite the odds, and she did so with the level of intensity and flair she has become known for.

Henley’s reign ends at 111 days, with Vaquer becoming the third holder in the title’s lineage. Vaquer also made history with her victory. By winning the gold, Vaquer becomes the first South American-born champion in all of WWE.

Nathan Frazer & Axiom (c) vs. Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura [NXT Tag Team Championship Match]

This was the sole tag team match offering from the Vengeance Day card, and it did not disappoint. Nathan Frazer and Axiom’s undeniable chemistry, agility, and speed went well against Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura’s brute strength.

Following quite a fast-paced and exciting bout, Frazer and Axiom picked up the win, thus extending their reign. At the end of it, the two teams shook hands, showing each other some sportsmanship. But they were attacked by four unidentified masked men (kind of reminiscent of Retribution).

Trick Williams vs. Eddy Thorpe [Strap Match]

Eddy Thorpe made it to the ring first and, before the bell could even ring, he attacked Trick Williams upon entrance. The match eventually got underway, and it quickly turned into a brutal affair once the strap was introduced.

Williams seemed to be dominating for the most part. That was until Thorpe found a creative way to incapacitate Williams using the strap. This led to Thorpe picking up the victory, much to the shock of the crowd in attendance.

Ricky Starks Contract Signing Booked

NXT’s newest and hottest acquisition confirmed that he will be signing his contract on the February 18 edition of NXT.

Je’Von Evans vs. Ethan Page [Singles Match]

This match was so disdain-filled that it did not even need a stipulation. Je’Von Evans has his mouthguard but Ethan Page is also determined to get past that.

Evans starts the action immediately, and he sets the pace for the match. Page consistently tries to slow the action down with his experience. Page managed to injure Evans’ leg but the young OG was able to push through it.

Evans ultimately got to execute his revenge by stomping out Page’s jaw but that was not enough. Page managed to land a punch that sent Evans’ mouthguard flying, and split his jaw once more. This opened the door for Page to pick up the victory once more.

Oba Femi (c) vs. Austin Theory vs. Grayson Waller [NXT Championship Match]

This match was always going to test Austin Theory and Grayson Waller’s friendship and partnership. Oba Femi, entering as the champion, has already proven to perform tremendously well in triple-threat matches.

This got brutal real quick, and the chairs and tables were brought out to play. With each passing moment, the cracks in the A-Town Down Under foundation seemingly increased. In the end, it all worked against them as Femi managed to pick up the win and retain his title.

Just as Femi was about to celebrate, the masked four men from earlier in the night reappeared. They swarmed on the champion, and the segment ended with a powerbomb to Femi.

Giulia (c) vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Bayley vs. Cora Jade [NXT Women’s Championship Match]

The fatal four-way match between Giulia, Roxanne Perez, Bayley, and Cora Jade promised fireworks. With Giulia’s NXT Women’s Championship on the line, this was a unique clash of NXT’s three most prominent eras.

Each of these Superstars put their best foot forward and had some standout moments for themselves. All motivated to walk away with the NXT women’s division’s top prize, they put it all out there. As for Perez and Jade’s friendship, safe to say that is done.

Giulia retained the title but it was no easy feat. In the end, the newly-minted NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer came out to celebrate with her friend. They were soon joined by one of NXT’s newest signees, Jordynne Grace.
