Who Will WWE Charlotte Flair Choose to fight at WrestleMania 41?

Who Will WWE Charlotte Flair Choose to fight at WrestleMania 41?

Charlotte Flair made her long-awaited return at this year’s WWE Royal Rumble PLE and could leave the ring with her head held high and finger pointing at the WrestleMania sign. Flair is the first woman to win two Royal Rumble matches and pave her way to a championship match at the grandest stage in professional wrestling. She also entered at the most highly won number, the lucky Royal Rumble number – 27.

Now that Flair set her path to WrestleMania, what championship will she go for? Who will be her first feud back?

Right now, Flair has excellent options for opponents, all of which look like WrestleMania-worthy matches. Which match will we see?

Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair (WWE Women’s World Championship)

The first time Flair won the Royal Rumble match was in 2020 when she chose to challenge then NXT Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley. The match took place at WrestleMania 36, in front of no fans, which was a shame considering the quality match they had. Ultimately, Flair became the NXT Women’s Champion for the second time.

However, they met again at WrestleMania 39 after Rhea Ripley won the Royal Rumble and chose to face Charlotte. The two went toe-to-toe for the second time as Ripley looked for retribution over Charlotte Flair. This time, Ripley succeeded and became the WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion.

Both matches were incredible, and Ripley only continued to grow as a character and wrestler at that time. They are tied against each other at WrestleMania; would one more match hurt? We could see who really wins between them.

Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair (WWE Women’s Championship)

Since Tiffany Stratton joined the company, fans have discussed a match between her and Charlotte Flair. Their extensive similarities make this match highly anticipated.

Physically, they are both very athletic and have a similar wrestling style. They are agile and strong, and able to perform flips off the top rope and slams in the ring.

Flair and Stratton are arguably some of the best storytellers on the roster. They each embody their characters exceptionally and relay that on the microphone and in the ring. This creates an aura around them that captivates the audience, whether they like them or not.

Stratton rose fast on the main roster while Flair was gone, and we never got to see them in the ring together. It could be one of the most anticipated WrestleMania matches if they commit heavily to the story.

Giulia vs. Charlotte Flair (NXT Women’s Championship)

The arrival of Giulia in WWE opened the possibility for many more dream matches. She possesses the New Japan wrestling style, which is unique in WWE and is known as a strong style.

Even though Giulia is still new to the company, it doesn’t take away from the fact that she has been wrestling for seven years prior. She has the experience to bring to WrestleMania if Flair chooses to go for the NXT Women’s Championship again.

Flair appeared on NXT this past week to inform the women’s roster that they are on notice, as the championship could change before WrestleMania. But it doesn’t matter to Flair who’s holding it because she plans to win nonetheless.

It was a big decision in 2020 for Flair to challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship at WrestleMania, as it was the first time an NXT title was defended on that stage. It brought more recognition to the NXT brand, especially after Flair became champion.

A match between Giulia and Flair would be one for the ages but timing is everything, and it would be a shame for the feud to fail due to wrong timing when there is potential for it to be historic.
