Pretty Deadly – Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley – took offense to Sam Gradwell calling them yogurts and demanded a match from Sid Scala. Scala obliged, setting Gradwell on a quest to find a tag team partner.
Elon Musk, Paul McCartney, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Liam Gallagher have all ghosted Gradwell after he asked them to be his tag team partner via Twitter. A-Kid and Nathan Frazer have both personally turned him down.
Gradwell has stooped so low as to ask his fast-food drive-thru attendant to be his partner. But – at the time of writing – he is still without a teammate for the match. Will it be a handicap match, or will Gradwell find a partner in time?

Dar Defends Against A-Kid
Current NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship Noam Dar still holds a grudge against A-Kid for eliminating him from the tournament to crown the first champion. A-Kid was the first-ever Heritage Cup Champion and has been suffering a crisis of purpose since he lost it to Tyler Bate. Dar beat Bate in one of the matches of 2021 and is enjoying his run with the cup.
Dar hopes to defeat A-Kid and send him further into despair. He also has a side bet with Sha Samuels that he can beat him in the fourth round. Regardless of who wins, it is bound to be a cracking match.

Anything Else
Die Familie have challenged Gallus to a six-man tag match after they interfered in their No.1 contenders elimination match with Dave Mastiff & Jack Starz. We could get that match this week, or we might see the final of the NXT UK Tag Team No.1 Contenders tournament between Mastiff & Starz and Oliver Carter & Ashton Smith.
There will be a final build-up towards Ilja Dragunov putting the NXT UK Championship on the line against Jordan Devlin, next week.
