This week’s edition of NXT 2.0, a special Halloween Havoc episode, opened with a triple threat ladder match for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship. The reigning titleholders, Zoey Stark and Io Shirai, defended the championship against Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta, in addition to Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin of Toxic Attraction. This was a punishing ladder match that saw all competitors take matters to the extreme. Though all duos put forth a solid effort, it was Jayne and Dolin of Toxic Attraction that walked away as the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. Their stablemate, Mandy Rose, will be in action later tonight, as she challenges NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez in a “Spin The Wheel, Make a Deal” Match.

Toxic Attraction Win NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles
With this victory, Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin have captured WWE gold for the very first time. Earlier this summer, they formed an alliance with Mandy Rose; together, the trio became known as Toxic Attraction. Since then, the trio has been on an absolute tear, focusing their aggression on everyone from The Spitfire Warriors to Gonzalez and anyone else in the NXT women’s division. Now that they hold the NXT women’s tag team titles, Toxic Attraction will be a major target on NXT 2.0 moving forward.
Having both started their wrestling careers in the mid-2010s, Jayne and Dolin saw success on the independent scene, in their own ways, before signing with WWE. They won multiple singles women’s titles across various promotions. In addition, Dolin competed in two tournaments in WWE. Back in 2018, she participated in the Mae Young Classic under her former alias, Priscilla Kelly, losing in the first round to current IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo. Dolin would go on to participate in the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic earlier this year, working alongside fellow NXT Superstar Cora Jade.
