Paola Blaze vs Marti Belle
The women’s wrestling action is seemingly neverending on NWA Powerrr. On last week’s episode, “The Little Blue Dragon” Tootie Lynn challenged “Smiley” Kylie Rae. Despite a valiant effort from the St. Louis native, it was Rae that emerged victorious. This week, it’s Paola Blaze in action as she takes on one-half of the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions, Marti Belle. Alongside Allysin Kay, Belle won the revived titles at NWA EmPowerrr. The Hex wrestled two grueling matches in one night to etch their names in history. Tonight, Belle will be in singles action as she takes on Blaze, who she is no stranger to. This past August, on NWA Powerrr, Belle picked up a victory over Blaze. Will history repeat itself in this latest Paola Blaze vs Marti Belle encounter?
An NWA World TV Title Contender Will Be Decided
Also set for this week’s NWA Powerrr is the crowning of a new number one contender for the NWA World Television Championship. The title in question is currently held by the super heavyweight, Tyrus. He has been on a tear since debuting for the National Wrestling Alliance earlier this year. His path of dominance led him to unseat The Pope for the World TV title last month. Tonight, on NWA Powerrr, Tyrus’s next opponent will be decided. In three-way action will be “The Masked Man” Cyon, Jordan Clearwater, and Jeremiah Plunkett. Cyon has been a prominent name on NWA programming since his recent debut, though with Clearwater currently aligned with Tyrus and Austin Idol, it would behoove “The Golden Boy” to win this match. Throw in Jeremiah Plunkett, who will be looking to regain momentum following his loss to Judais last week, and this will be a contest to keep an eye on.
“Humiliation Showdown”
The specific details of a “Humiliation Showdown” remain to be seen. Nonetheless, theres’ no denying the bad blood that developed between Crimson and Jax Dane. As the former War Kings, matters have grown sour between the two powerhouses in recent months. Their growing tension became that much more tumultuous at NWA 73. In the opening match, which saw Crimson involved in a Battle at the Lou contest, he was attacked by Dane while making his entrance. An injured Crimson was incredibly gutsy, making his way back to the ring to wrestle the match. Ultimately, he fell short against Thom Latimer and eventual winner Tim Storm. Tonight, on NWA Powerrr, matters will become that much sourer when Crimson and Jax Dane engage in a “Humiliation Showdown.” Tune into FITE tonight to see how this blood feud develops.
