Massive news went down earlier this evening as it was confirmed that Lee Moriarty signed with AEW. Last month, during Moriarty’s early days with AEW, company owner Tony Khan offered the contract to him following a match with Daniel Garcia earlier in the show. Moriarty has been impressive on AEW Dark, not only against Garcia but Dante Martin and others. Now, it’s been confirmed that Lee Moriarty is All Elite.

Lee Moriarty is All Elite
Lee Moriarty was considered one of the hottest free agents in all of wrestling following his explosion in popularity last summer after making his debut for Game Changer Wrestling (GCW). Moriarty first gained buzz in Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW) thanks to some matches with Alex Shelley in the promotion but it was GCW that catapulted him to prominence. Moriarty took that attention and became one of the most sought-after indie stars of 2020.
It isn’t just on the indies where Moriarty has excelled, he has appeared in IMPACT! Wrestling in the past, been drafted to Major League Wrestling (MLW) where he took part in the Battle Riot, and even wrestled for Ring Of Honor on their Death Before Dishonor event. Moriarty has clearly been a name in demand in the professional wrestling industry who has acquitted himself well everywhere he’s been. AEW continues to pick up the top free agents in pro wrestling and Lee Moriarty will definitely not be the last.
