WWE SmackDown tonight, June 26, 2026, emanated from The O2 in London, England, and is the “go-home” show for this Saturday’s next big WWE Premium Live Event, WWE Night of Champions 2026. The event will feature title matches, plus the conclusion of the King and Queen of the Ring 2026 tournament. As such, WWE SmackDown tonight will raise the ante as they make their way to Riyadh for another stacked card.

WWE SmackDown Live Tonight Rundown (6/26/26) – What to Expect:
As many WWE PLE “go-home” shows go for the promotion, expect one final confrontation from everyone on the card. There’s a lot of animosity going into Night of Champions 2026, in particular, with all the competitors in their respective title matches. Cody Rhodes has always been hunted, but now, it seems like the “American Nightmare” dug a deep hole for himself as a “fighting champion,” as he defends the Undisputed WWE Title against Gunther and Sami Zayn in a Triple Threat Match.
Gunther has been crying to the heavens how he’s been “cheated” for the title so many times, and now, he has the shot of a lifetime to put all this to bed and raise the title. For Zayn, Sami has been on a massive quest to become World Champion since late last year.
Zayn has gone as far as to turn his back on the people who accepted him and went after both Rhodes and Gunther. Expect to see Gunther and Zayn rattle the cage of Rhodes one more time before their big 3-Way dance for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Speaking of rattling cages, Jade Cargill has taken one championship from Tiffany Stratton, and she looks to take another one as they go at it for the Women’s United States Title this Saturday. Since returning, Cargill has been on an absolute tear, and now, she’s hungry for gold again. Poor Chelsea Green, though. With Cargill trying to gain momentum and make a statement, Green will probably be a victim of a massive beatdown come Friday night.
Apart from that, we got two huge grudge matches as hometown girl Paige looks to silence the leader of Fatal Influence, Jacy Jayne, in her homecoming. As for Giulia, redemption is within reach if she so happens to put to rest her history with Kiana James, an individual she deemed a “user.”
Not to be outdone, Rey Fenix will once again defend the AAA Cruiserweight Title, only this time, against the other half of Fraxiom, Nathan Frazer. Axiom put on a valiant effort and was moments away from wrestling the title away. Will Nathan Frazer see better results? As much as we love Frazer, Fenix is on another level, and we expect to keep the AAA Cruiserweight Title around his waist.
It seems like a fun WWE SmackDown tonight, which is fitting, as we head to the next big destination: WWE Night of Champions 2026!
