TNA Thursday Night iMPACT Review (5/14/26) – Shatter History, Trust the System

iMPACT Review – The Nygma’s View

The Gangstas’ Mustafa Saed, a former 2-time ECW World Tag Team Champion, joined the 13 other wrestlers in the ring. He was also the first eliminated. With 3 members of the System in, it could have turned bad. Kazarian grabbed at Elijah, the System charged at him, and all of them toppled over the top rope, resulting in an elimination. Eric Young and Elijah were the last two in the ring. Both men were left hanging on the edge of the apron. Eric Young Nutcracked Elijah to become the #1 contender. The cleanse continues…

Léi Ying Lee finds Xia Brookside on her road

TNA Knockouts World Champion Léi Ying Lee hit the iMPACT zone after her monumental victory last week. Lee has been fighting her whole life for this moment. She beat Arianna Grace and is now a two-time TNA Knockouts World Champion. She was so proud of herself for bringing the title back home to TNA Wrestling. Lee gave a heartfelt thank-you to her fans, and Xia Brookside interrupted the moment. Brookside has her eyes set on the title and is ready for it to come to her. Lee is ready to take her on anytime, anywhere.

Sac-Town fiasco

Before the match, KC Navarro told Gia Miller he would get rid of 8 months of frustration when he faces AJ Francis. He will have to add a few more weeks to the count. Legendary MLB Chris Carray joined Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary for this match. The weapons involved: the steel steps, a lot of chairs, a table, a trash can, and a baseball bat.

Because AJ Francis loves it when there are no rules, he used the stipulation to its maximum. After some nice chair spots, Francis slammed down Navarro through the tables on the outside with a Down Payment. He slid Navarro back in the ring for the cover and secured the pinfall.
