Who Will Join With Danhausen?
Danhausen has been a breath of fresh comedy air to WWE. His debut was not well-received, but since then, he has been one of the best parts of Friday nights. His program with The Miz and Kit Wilson has been hilarious at every turn, leading to a very intriguing tag team match for Backlash—a match where Danhausen will have a mystery partner in his corner.
Who will be joining Danhausen is the burning question on everyone’s mind. His comedic character is an interesting one to partner up with, and WWE has not indicated who will join him. Many names have been thrown out, and almost every direction can be taken. It will be a ton of fun to see who comes out with Danhausen. IYO SKY & Asuka Turn In A Five-Star Match
Despite the anger towards Kairi Sane’s release, this match still has the makings of a five-star classic. IYO SKY and Asuka have been putting together a nice angle, and we have been slow-burning towards this match. It may not be the one that the fans wanted, but it will be a classic encounter. The history and personal hatred are there, so this angle had a great launching point and isn’t without tension.
Both IYO SKY and Asuka are tremendous professional wrestlers. They have put on countless 5-star matches and have a personal history that will enhance their encounter. No one should be surprised if they turn in the match of the night. They have the personal connection and raw talent to ensure that this match is going to be 4 stars plus. These women will steal the night, and very well could save Backlash 2026.
