#3. Tama Tonga Attacks Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu at Backlash 2026
2026 has been extremely kind to Tama Tonga. Tonga has scored pinfall wins over Shinsuke Nakamura, Ilja Dragunov, Carmelo Hayes, and Uncle Howdy. He has done much of the heavy lifting for the MFTs and has also taken his family to great success. However, he has also clashed with Solo Sikoa, which partially explains his recent absence.
WWE was clearly pushing Tonga for a singles run. The actual push could begin at Backlash 2026 when he interferes during Reigns vs. Fatu. The deranged Tama Tonga could lay waste to the OTC and the Samoan Werewolf. This time around, he would be acting on his own accord.
In such a case, it would be intriguing to see how Sikoa would fit into this dynamic. Nonetheless, it would still put Tama Tonga in the spotlight and put a target on his back. Eventually, he could find himself in a high-profile World Heavyweight Championship match.
