The Best of the Rest
- The System had two matches last night (but we already knew it).
- Director of Authority Santino Marella’s flight was cancelled, and Director of Operations Daria Rae was ready to make all of the decisions.
- Last week, Broken Matt Hardy made an appearance and helped Jeff Hardy secure his win. The Hardys feel The Righteous opened Pandora’s Box. The Broken Hardys are only a gateway to who they will become.
- AJ Francis reintroduced himself and called out KC Navarro for being a thorn in his side. AJ Francis challenged KC Navarro to a Sactown Street Fight live next week. KC Navarro responded; he is confident he will win the Sactown Street Fight.
- Moose was found under a barrier, a chair around the neck, backstage.
iMPACT Review – The Nygma’s Last Word(s)
May 8 means celebrating the end of World War II. It also means the day when all the TNA titles are back in the TNA wrestlers’ hands. The Angel Warrior is now a 2-time TNA Knockouts World Champion. The episode was good, but disturbing. I loved Eric Young’s maliciousness and Léi Ying Lee’s well-deserved win. Then, the System remains the System, cheating for gold. Elayna Black and Mike Santana’s segments weren’t thrilling. Now, what’s next? The live episode in Sacramento next week will probably help clear the air.
With no PLE till TNA Slammiversary, TNA Wrestling will tiptoe its way to it. Then, it will give more attractiveness to the weekly show. You have to be there every week to understand what the company is cooking, to watch great action in the ring, to dig deep into the company’s soul. The AMC era is really something fascinating.
That’s all for the TNA Thursday Night iMPACT review of the week. If you want a dishonestly honest Nygma point of view, you’ll always find it here. The show known as “TNA iMPACT” was renamed “TNA Thursday Night iMPACT.” Whatever, iMPACT is and remains TNA Wrestling’s flagship weekly show. Have you read and/or listened to my McKenzie Mitchell interview? Till next week, may the Nygma be with you.
