Thursday Night iMPACT Review (5/7/26) – Fabulous #AndNEW

iMPACT Review – The Nygma’s View

Mission Demolition

In the iMPACT preview, I said I wanted Eric Young to do a massacre. He would use everything the no-DQ stipulation was allowing. EC3 dragged a table into the ring, and EY ate the steel steps. EC3 added some trash cans and a steel chair. He set up the chair around Young’s throat. Young countered by charging into EC3 with the chair, then crushing the trash can into EC3’s head.

Young slammed the trash can into his spine twice and brought a steel chain into the ring. Young continued wrapping the chain around EC3’s neck and whipping him with it. EY neutralized EC3 with a flurry of NutCrackers before crushing EC3 with a Piledriver through a table on the outside. Eric Young rolled EC3 into the ring and drilled EC3 with another Piledriver off the steel chair.

Elayna Black and the TNA Knockouts

Elayna Black entered the iMPACT Zone with her eyes set on the TNA Knockouts World Championship. The Personal Concierge interrupted Black and welcomed Ash by Elegance. Indi Hartwell interrupted Ash. Elayna exited the ring, and Indi Hartwell called out Ash. All three of these Knockouts have their eyes set on the same thing.

The System retains

An interference from AJ Francis or Ryan Nemeth could have been on the menu, but forgetting the System was a mistake. KC Navarro and Nic Nemeth came up short because it was the System. So, Alisha Edwards interfered multiple times. When KC Navarro landed a boot to Bronson Reed’s face, she interfered to slow down Navarro. Navarro charged at Reed, who hoisted him up and drove him down with Bear Down for the win.

About Steph Franchomme

Steph, for Stephanie, is not only eNYGMAtic, charismatic, but also “très chic.” Living in France, her birth country, she broke the language barrier to become a respected writer and interviewer on many wrestling promotions. She has developed a very special bond with TNA Wrestling over time to the point of becoming an Authority on the company. The French Nygma, as she loves to call herself, has been a wrestling writer and editor for nearly a decade for SteelChair Magazine/Wrestling SC, TWM and Distortion Media. She has interviewed hundreds of wrestlers from WWE, MLW, TNA, NXT, AEW, and many more promotions. The Nygma is now the new “Authority” on TNA Wrestling and NXT for Last Word on Pro Wrestling. The writer/editor also runs @3WWrestling, her own platform.
