Bron Breakker & Seth Rollins Brawl Hijack 5/4 WWE Raw Ahead of Backlash

Night 1 of WrestleMania 41 ended with a very shocking twist. Paul Heyman started 2025 managing Roman Reigns. He switched allegiances to CM Punk prior to WrestleMania. At the end of their triple threat match, he betrayed Punk and Reigns to align with Seth Rollins. The following night, the two of them formed the Vision with Bron Breakker.

Afterward, they added Bronson Reed to the group. After a few months of dominance, Breakker and Reed betrayed Rollins. They added Austin Theory and Logan Paul to become the group we see today.

At the Royal Rumble, Breakker was attacked by a masked man. Shortly after, he took time off due to injury. The masked man revealed himself at the Elimination Chamber as Rollins. Leading up to WrestleMania: Vegas, he antagonized Heyman, which led to a match with Gunther.

During the match, Breakker returned to cost him the match. Since then, the two men have been furious at each other, with a match at Backlash made official. With less than a week to go until the PLE, what would they do if they interacted with each other?

Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins Heat Up Their Rivalry Ahead of Backlash

Both Breakker and Rollins have very good reasons to be as mad as they are. Breakker was one of the top favorites to win the Royal Rumble. Fans were extremely excited to see him potentially compete for a championship at WrestleMania. When he got taken out early, they were shocked. Heyman was surprised as well, as no one could’ve seen that coming.

What wasn’t surprising was that Rollins was behind the mask. He personally aligned himself with Breakker, and he probably saw him as a future star. The betrayal was definitely shocking to him, so he had to find a way to get him back for what he did. Now, he cost him a win against Gunther at WWE’s biggest PLE of the year. Facing each other at Backlash is a necessary move for both men.

On the May 4, 2026 episode of Monday Night Raw, the two collided more than once ahead of their fight on Saturday. The episode started with Rollins coming out to speak with the crowd. He interrupted Reigns, who wanted to speak first. With Jacob Fatu not at the arena yet, he jumped at the chance to confront Breakker.

He was making his way to the ring when Bron Breakker attacked him. Sent to the ground, he got punched in the face before giving some offense of his own. Security and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce then rushed in to defuse the situation. But that didn’t stop the two of them from beating each other up once again. Breakker speared Seth Rollins, prompting him to be kicked out of the ring.

But that wasn’t the end of their confrontation. Fellow Vision members Paul and Theory have had issues with Joe Hendry. They had a confrontation, but Hendry was ready for their fight—Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, who returned last Monday, were once again on his side.

Things were going well for those three until Bron Breakker returned to even things up. Taking care of them with ease, he was lining up for the spear to Ford until someone grabbed his leg. That someone was Rollins, who wasn’t done with him.

Seth Rollins punched and pushed him into the steel steps. After they got in the ring, he was lining up for the stomp, but got interrupted by Ford diving to the outside onto Paul and Theory.

That was the perfect timing for Bron Breakker to deliver the spear, sending him to the mat. With less than a week until Backlash, these two men certainly have a lot of bad blood towards each other. That should mean that their match on Saturday will be filled with lots of excitement for everyone.
