Liv Morgan entered 2026 on a mission, and that’s to get gold. Morgan kicked it off with an amazing win at the Royal Rumble, winning the 30-woman gauntlet and calling her shot at WWE WrestleMania 42. Liv Morgan would toy with the idea of challenging WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill. Still, it was always a diversion, because she is out to get Stephanie Vaquer all along, knowing that Vaquer’s dominance needs to end before Morgan or anyone would be too late to stop it.
Both these women wanted to be looked at as the top face in all of WWE, with both trading physical and verbal jabs leading up to their big showdown. Morgan took it one step further, having the Judgment Day, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez batter Vaquer every chance they got, ahead of their showdown in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Vaquer fought through the adversity, proving that she’s the one true force to be reckoned with in WWE as she had an instant classic at WrestleMania 42 with Liv Morgan. Unfortunately, Morgan kicked it into another gear on this night and once again became WWE Women’s World Champion.
Morgan was on fire tonight, dominating Stephanie Vaquer from the get-go. While Vaquer remained defiant, she was outmatched today, in fire and in help. Vaquer would try to embarrass Morgan by hitting ObLIVion and almost nabbing the win. However, Morgan would kick out. We then see The Judgment Day, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez interfere in the match, distracting Vaquer, allowing Morgan to hit ObLIVion.
Surprisingly, Vaquer would kick out. Stephanie was not playing anymore, executing a Springboard Cross Body to the outside, taking out Rodrigurz and Perez. Morgan would take control, seizing the opportunity to slam Vaquer into the steel steps, put her in the ring, scale the ropes and hit a Top Rope Codebreaker.
With one final ObLIVion, Morgan would pin Vaquer to become the #AndNEW WWE Women’s World Champion at WrestleMania 42. After the match, we saw Dominik Mysterio celebrate with Liv Morgan, along with the entire Judgment Day. It’s going to be one heck of a WWE Monday Night Raw now that Liv Morgan rules over the kingdom once again.
To Vaquer’s credit, she did not back down, giving Morgan her toughest test to date. But, WWE Universe, we all know if Liv Morgan sets her mind to it, she can go, and she went all out on this night with an amazing performance that not even La Primera can ward off.
