WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 1 Preview (4/19/25) – Card, Time, Watch

Best Roman Reigns Matches at WWE WrestleMania, Thus Far

#1. Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31

By the time WrestleMania 31 had rolled out, WWE was committed to making Roman Reigns its poster boy. Unfortunately, fans heavily rejected his push, but the company was unrelenting in its pursuit. Thus, when the Big Dog walked out to face Brock Lesnar at Mania 31, he was heavily booed.

At the time, there were questions regarding Reigns’ talent, too. However, when the show finished, Reigns had fewer doubters. Almost everyone expected Reigns vs. Lesnar I to be a colossal failure, but they couldn’t have been more wrong. It was an absolute war, and Levi’s Stadium was rocking.

Lesnar manhandled the Big Dog, taking him to Suplex City and devouring him with stiff Clotheslines. Reigns wasn’t backing down as he kept coming back for more. The Big Dog found a tiny opening when he sent The Beast into the ring post. The champion was reeling and drowning in his own blood.

Reigns fired back with a flurry of Superman Punches and Spears, but was cut off with an F5. Both men were down, and the match was wide open. Seth Rollins’ music hit, and he ran down with the Money in the Bank contract. “The Future” cashed in during the main event and walked out with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Michael Cole labeled this cash in “The Heist of the Century.” Fans were surprised beyond belief, and WWE had booked the best possible option. To Reigns’ credit, he showed everyone who he truly was at WrestleMania 31. The Big Dog was a main event caliber Superstar of the highest category.
