Kit Wilson Calls Out Jelly Roll
For the second week in a row, Kit Wilson calls out Jelly Roll. The GRAMMY award winner was heated, saying he wants a referee to settle it tonight. Kit Wilson would recite a poem, poking fun at Jelly Roll’s weight, with it even getting a chuckle from Jelly Roll.
Jelly Roll would get on the mic, referencing Wilson’s poem and saying egregious things about Kit’s mother with barre after barre. Kit Wilson has had enough and delivered a cheap shot on Jelly Roll, putting an exclamation point on the situation with a Cockscrew Elbow Drop.
Backstage:
- We see Giulia talking to Kiana James, with the Women’s U.S. Champion saying she’ll put Tiffany Stratton in her place next week. Chelsea Green would offer help, only to get turned down and pushed off in her wheelchair by the Irresistible Forces, who are ready for their title defense.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
For the first time since 2018, The Bella Twins team up, and the stakes could not be any higher as they challenge the Irresistible Forces for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Before the action could get properly started, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair would arrive to oversee the match.
Nikki and Brie looked good in the match before getting overpowered by Lash Legend and Nia Jax. The Bella Twins pulled off some twin magic, mounting an impressive comeback against Jax and Legend.
Jax would get extremely frustrated, looking to hit the Bella Twins with the titles. Flair would try to save the Bellas by delivering a kick to Nia, leading to the disqualification.
The Bella Twins would take exception to this and attacked everyone in sight, before the Irresistible Forces would take command and clean house, delivering a devastating second rope Guillotine Leg Drop on Charlotte Flair.
Randy Orton Ends SmackDown
On the phone with the same mystery person he talked to on this past week’s WWE Raw, Randy Orton said he’ll “make things right” as he once again will come out to talk to the WWE Universe, and maybe even someone else.
When we thought Orton would do the right thing, even high-fiving the little kids as he made his way to the ring, he would double down. Orton invited Matt Cardona down to the ring, and he apologized and hugged it out, saying he owes Cody Rhodes an apology next week, then we see the real Orton.
Randy Orton would deliver a low blow, then an RKO to Cardona, before raining down fists on him on the announcer’s table. In a similar scene to Cody Rhodes, Orton would try to use the steel steps again before getting hauled off by WWE officials.
Orton would hear the voices and pull Cardona back into the ring and mercilessly beat down Cardona, having Matt’s arm clamped down in between a steel chair and stomping it down, snapping Cardona’s left arm before finally getting escorted out.
On the tron, we see Fatu and McIntyre fighting up on a sealed off area of the arena outside, and the two were fighting up high on the railings of a facility building before the two fell on concrete, ending SmackDown on a concerning note.
