4.WrestleMania 40 (Lincoln Financial Field)

Our next pick brings us to WrestleMania 40, held at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles. Even though WWE took a gamble by holding their biggest event of the year outdoors in colder temperatures, the crowd remained electric across both nights, regardless of the thermometer.

Night 1 saw Sami Zayn reach the pinnacle of his “underdog” storyline by defeating Gunther, ending his 666-day Intercontinental title reign and sparking an enormous reaction from the crowd.  The card also featured viral highlights as Eagles stars Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson donned luchador masks to help Rey Mysterio and Andrade defeat Rey’s son, Dominik, and Santos Escobar.

The night culminated in an electric main event, featuring The Rock’s first competitive match in eight years as he teamed with Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

The social media buzz continued on Night 2 when YouTube sensation IShowSpeed made a chaotic appearance during the United States Title Triple Threat match involving Logan Paul, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton. Drama also surrounded the World Heavyweight Title, as Drew McIntyre finally captured the gold only to lose it five minutes later to a Damian Priest Money in the Bank cash-in.

The most incredible moments, however, were saved for the main event, as Cody Rhodes challenged Roman Reigns in a high-stakes rematch for the Undisputed WWE Championship under “Bloodline Rules.”

The bout featured legendary appearances from John Cena, The Rock, and The Undertaker, with Rhodes ultimately securing the victory. His win brought a two-year story to a close, providing an incredibly emotional payoff for the WWE Universe.
