10 minutes before WWE SmackDown went on air tonight in Louisville, Kentucky, at the KFC Yum! Center, we saw someone take out Jey Uso, effectively removing him from tomorrow night’s 2026 WWE Elimination Chamber Match. And as you might expect, tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown was chaotic, with people lobbying to replace Jey Uso. We saw a livid Jacob Fatu even go with Jey to the hospital to make sure he was okay. Unfortunately, as he reported back to Nick Aldis, it was not a good sign, and The Vision, specifically Logan Paul, wanted to “rise to the occasion.”
Despite being WWE Raw superstars and their presence after the attack on Jey Uso on SmackDown, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce decided that at the 11th hour, they will have a qualified in the main event of tonight’s SmackDown between Logan Paul and Jacob Fatu, with the winner taking Jey Uso’s vacant spot in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match.
Fatu was so sure McIntyre had something to do with it that he pleaded for this opportunity, and Aldis granted it to him. The same with Paul, being one of the most talented guys in there, right place and right time, and Adam Pearce made the call to give SmackDown a main event they won’t soon forget.
Fatu was in control for most of the match, and despite interference from The Vision, Jacob was in control, hitting a Pop-Up Samoan Drop, then going for the Mighty Moonsault. Fatu was closing in on the win, but Drew McIntyre would hit him with the Undisputed WWE Championship, leading to Fatu getting knocked unconscious, and securing the final spot in the 2026 Men’s Elimination Chamber Match.

Regardless of what you want to say about it, Logan Paul did everything, and it worked, rounding out tomorrow’s Men’s Chamber field in Chicago, Illinois!
