#2: Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose – WWE World Heavyweight Championship (Elimination Chamber 2015)

If there was a year in WWE that belonged to Seth Rollins, it had to be 2015. It was the year when Rollins finally reached the mountain top by becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion. When Rollins defended the title in his first regular one-on-one match with Dean Ambrose, fans knew they were in for a treat. Both men have great wrestling chemistry with each other, so it definitely had the fans on their feet.

In this bout, it looked as if Rollins’ reign was coming to an end. During the match, the referee took a bump, leading to chaos. With Ambrose fighting off Corporate Kane and J&J Security, Ambrose seemed to be on his way to winning his first World title. The moment Ambrose hit “Dirty Deeds” on Rollins, a new referee came to count the pin.

Fans were thrilled as they believed Ambrose won the title. Unfortunately, the original referee regained consciousness and disqualified Rollins, thus reversing the decision. The result saw Ambrose winning via disqualification and Rollins retaining the championship.
