WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
For the first title defense since winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY, collectively known as Team RHIYO, defend the championships against Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan of the Judgment Day in the first official match of the night. Perez and Morgan came out swinging, immediately isolating IYO SKY from her partner.
Even when Ripley got her opportunity to participate in the match, Liv and Roxanne had a gameplan to ground the Eradicator with relentless offense. Morgan would hit a Codebreaker and immediately cover Ripley. Rhea would kick out, frustrating Morgan, which led to Liv getting hit by a Razor’s Edge via Ripley, then a Missile Dropkick from IYO.
Morgan was down for the count, but Perez would break up the count, saving the match for The Judgment Day. Perez would then nail Ripley with a Head Scissors, sending her to the outside. SKY would execute a Springboard Dropkick to Perez, then turn her focus to Morgan.
Liv could not put IYO away. Perez would try her hand at finishing this thing, countering an Over the Moonsault, as well as hitting Pop Rocks. SKY could not kick out. Fortunately, Ripley was there for the save. Ripley would hit a Headbutt, then a Riptide, followed by an Over the Moonsault. SKY and Ripley had this won, but Raquel Rodriguez would pull Ripley’s feet, leading to her falling on the official.
Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer would even the odds, brawling with Rodriguez and taking her over the equation. Back in the ring, everyone was down, including the referee. Perez would crawl to a fallen SKY, covering her with one arm. SKY would not die, getting a shoulder up.
Morgan would hit SKY with Oblivion, but what she didn’t know was that Ripley made a blind tag, making her the legal competitor. Ripley would hoist up Morgan for a Riptide, pinning her, as RHIYO retains the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.
