WWE SNME XLIII Results (1/24/26):
The “Billion Dollar Princess” Stephanie McMahon welcomed the Montreal crowd, stating that she’s flying solo tonight as her announcing partner Joe Tessitore had flight issues. McMahon got the WWE Universe in Canada fired up by asking, “Are You Ready?” The crowd exploded as WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is now underway.
Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu
To kick off the night, we see Jacob Fatu marching to the ring all fired up, saying he’ll destroy Cody Rhodes tonight, as WWE SNME XLIII begins with a heated grudge match between the two. Cody Rhodes made his entrance to an electric Montreal crowd.
Once he scaled the ropes, with ring jacket still intact, Fatu would strike immediately. The bell hadn’t even rang, and these two were throwing bombs at one another, even nailing WWE official Charles Robinson.
Security tried to pull them apart, but Fatu would assault every breathing man he could. Jacob would climb the ropes and execute a Double Jump Front Flip Senton to the outside on Rhodes and the WWE officials. These two brawled around the Bell Centre, with Rhodes leveling Fatu with a Suicide Dive.
Fatu and Rhodes weren’t done, and again, the match had not started officially, and these two brawled into the crowd, a sea of bodies followed them around the arena. It was absolute chaos as the two even reached the concession stands, with Fatu putting security through a table with a Uranage and Rhodes throwing a drink into Fatu’s face.
They fought back into the arena, where they brutalized each other and the security that was trying to keep them apart. Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre would come out of nowhere, sending Fatu through a table and giving Rhodes a low blow. McIntyre would then Powerbomb Cody through a table and gloat to end this chaotic scene.
Backstage, Cathy Kelley caught up with Drew McIntyre, asking for an explanation. McIntyre would keep it short; that was a statement, and whoever threatens his reign as Undisputed WWE Champion will get the same treatment.
During the break, we got more news about WWE 2K26.
