WWE 2K26 Monday Night Wars Edition Announced at WWE SNME XLIII

WWE 2K26 is about to be a blast from the past for wrestling and video game fans alike. After the announcement of the Attitude Era Edition of the game, featuring icons from WWE’s hottest period, 2K Games, during the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLIII event, launched another edition, which fans can pre-order beginning on January 30th, a day before the 2026 Royal Rumble.

According to Michael Cole, it will feature the most content of any edition. The short trailer showcased the nW0, one of the most influential groups in World Championship Wrestling (WCW), as well as the general professional wrestling landscape. We see the likes of Hollywood Hogan, Kevin Nash, as well as the “Bad Guy” Scott Hall staring down “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, The Rock, and even The Undertaker.

There was an Attitude Era Showcase Mode back in WWE ’13. However, there has never been a Monday Night Wars showcase. Is this a sign of things to come? Will we see D-Generation X storm a WCW show, among other shots fired during the 90s?

Most speculate that March 2026 will be the date when WWE 2K26 arrives, and we’ll know by then if we’ll get a full-on mode showcasing the hottest and most significant war between wrestling companies the industry has ever seen.
