Sports. Honestly. Since 2011

A graphic of The System 2.0, without Moose and JDC, but with Cedric Alexander and Bear Bronson on the January 22, 2026, episode of Thursday Night iMPACT

TNA Thursday Night iMPACT Results and Review (01/22/26) – A Shocking Twist of Fate

The System 2.0

JDC thanked the crowd for their love and support. And the new member of The System, introduced by the one and only JDC, is Bear Bronson. JDC and Moose were betrayed. Here came Cedric Alexander with a steel chair to make the save. Unfortunately, the steel chair was for Moose. Edwards and Alexander beat down JDC and Moose. Moose has been excommunicated from The System. Nygma says, Alisha Edwards fully disagreed, and so did I.

The Best of the Rest

  • Nic Nemeth messed up. He said that he respects Mike Santana. When he said the name “Ariana,” a brawl erupted.
  • Nic Nemeth, again, provoked BDE.
  • Santino Marella and Daria Rae were discussing Elayna’s first match when Arianna Grace arrived. Grace apologized to her Dad. Stacks was wrong, she was wrong, Daddy is the best. He accepted her apologies.

The Nygma’s Last Word(s)

I won’t say I didn’t like the episode. My head is a bit of a mess, which meansI couldn’t appreciate it fully. It was a pure Fallout episode, with things to continue and new stories in the making.

That’s all for the TNA Thursday Night iMPACT results of the week. The name “After The Bell” may have disappeared, but the Nygma spirit of the pieces will never disappear. If you want a dishonestly honest Nygma point of view, you’ll always find it here. The show known as “TNA iMPACT” changed to “TNA Thursday Night iMPACT.” Whatever, iMPACT is and remains what it has always been, TNA Wrestling’s flagship weekly show.

We are just at the beginning of 2026, and TNA Wrestling is already on fire. I’ll see you tomorrow with the TNA taping spoilers. I’ll come back to you soon with my Feast or Fired predictions. Till next week, may the Nygma be with you.

About Steph Franchomme

Steph, for Stephanie, is not only eNYGMAtic, charismatic, but also “très chic.” Living in France, her birth country, she broke the language barrier to become a respected writer and interviewer on many wrestling promotions. She has developed a very special bond with TNA Wrestling over time to the point of becoming an Authority on the company. The French Nygma, as she loves to call herself, has been a wrestling writer and editor for nearly a decade for SteelChair Magazine/Wrestling SC, TWM and Distortion Media. She has interviewed hundreds of wrestlers from WWE, MLW, TNA, NXT, AEW, and many more promotions. The Nygma is now the new “Authority” on TNA Wrestling and NXT for Last Word on Pro Wrestling. The writer/editor also runs @3WWrestling, her own platform.
