The Black Side of Blake
Thea Hail retained the NXT Women’s North American Title without even facing Blake Monroe. The Glamour snapped and just absolutely destroyed Hail, slamming her into the steps, then hit her with a chair, before throwing her into a barricade. Security had to separate the two women.
An Absolute Message From Ricky Saints
Ricky Saints came to offer a very special gift: himself, kicking off 2026. He stated that if, last year, he needed NXT, in 2026, NXT needs him. He said that’s the reason why Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans chose free agency; they couldn’t compete with what they can’t compare. “There is only room for one star, and one star only, that’s me,” he added. Saints told the locker room he is not going anywhere. He is Absolute, as he has told us since Day One. He also sent a message to Leon Slater and Oba Femi, stating that NXT will be in his hands, just like the NXT Championship.
A Dark Statement
NXT General Manager Ava was a bit tense. She prompted Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley to go to the ring. Here came Blake Monroe, who wasn’t sorry for what she had done before. Ava wanted The Glamour back; she had it, and now Monroe wanted her North American title back. A furious Ava banned her from the building.
Without Niko Vance and Shawn Spears by her side, Dame was out to prove a point and used her size advantage to keep her opponent at bay. Paxley’s unusual offense and strength advantage evened the odds. With the crowd firmly behind her, Paxley hit Cemetery Drive to get the win.
