Reigning TNA X-Division Champion and surging star Leon Slater receives two 2025 Year-End Awards, one for X-Division Star of the Year and one for Finishing Move of the Year. Slater will challenge Oba Femi for the NXT Championship on January 6 at New Year’s Evil. At a historic Slammiversary event, Leon Slater defeated Moose to become the youngest TNA X-Division Champion of all time. After the match, AJ Styles made his long-awaited return to TNA Wrestling and endorsed Slater as the future of the X-Division.
Nygma says: It would have been hard not to give to Leon Slater what he deserves. Moment-maker, youngest in charge, youngest X-Division Champion ever, Slater has defined this year 2025 with his performances in the ring, his kindness and humility in and outside the ring. At only 21, Slater has the whole world in his hands.

Match of the Year: Mustafa Ali vs. Mike Santana – Falls Count Anywhere match at Rebellion //
Nygma says: Moose vs Leon Slater at Slammiversary – Knockouts Match of the Year: Dani Luna vs Indi Hartwell – Dog Collar Match (TNA iMPACT – Dec. 11)
Nygma says: First, I chose to separate the best Male match from the Knockouts one. What TNA Wrestling should have done too. Second, Mike Santana vs. Mustafa Ali was a great match, but Moose vs Leon Slater stole my heart. Ali accepted the award, saying he was happy and not surprised because Order 4 has never stopped giving moments to all of us. “TNA has finally heard the call: in Ali, we trust.”
