TNA iMPACT Preview (12/25/25) – Merry Christmas and TNA 2025 Year-End Awards

It’s Christmas, and TNA Wrestling honors the name ‘Total Non-Stop Action” with a special TNA iMPACT episode. The company prepared a special menu for the fans, the TNA 2025 Year-End Awards, and a special Christmas match.

Last night on NXT, before he challenges Ethan Page for the NXT North American Championship next Tuesday, Moose made his presence felt on the latest edition of WWE NXT. After Ethan Page stuck his nose in the Women’s United States Championship Match between Chelsea Green and Sol Ruca, Moose brawled with him at ringside.

Meanwhile, Leon Slater‘s victory in the Fatal 4-Way Match made him earn an NXT Championship opportunity against Oba Femi on January 6 at New Year’s Evil. The two sat down with Kelly Kincaid for a special interview. They shook hands, but the challenge is huge, and the match is meant to be a modern classic.

Crossing the lines also means crossing the reviews. NXT may be a WWE show; taking a look at what happens on Tuesday nights has become essential to understanding what may happen on Thursday nights. That’s never been truer, and it keeps on being bigger and bigger. Let’s Nygma-dive into it.

The Stakes at TNA Wrestling & The Nygma’s View

With a match and ten awards on the list, the Christmas TNA iMPACT episode of the year is a kind of fairy-tale one. I can’t tell you more than what TNA announces. You’ll have to wait till Friday to find out, like me, who the winners are.

A 5 vs. 5 match, with probably mixed tag teams, has surprise participants. Nygma switches on her crystal ball: Ryan Nemeth refuses to quit his Turkey suit, and Mara Sadé superkicks him out every time she can. Rosemary had a warning for Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay, aka TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, The IInspiration. Eric Young is on a cleansing mission.

The TNA 2025 Year-End Awards nominations were announced less than two weeks ago. You could vote for your favorites in ten different categories on TNA social media. Nygma made her choices, of course. I also chose to give my own TNA 2025 Nygma Awards of the Year. I won’t explain to you why I made these choices. They are Nygma, after all.

About Steph Franchomme

Steph, for Stephanie, is not only eNYGMAtic, charismatic, but also “très chic.” Living in France, her birth country, she broke the language barrier to become a respected writer and interviewer on many wrestling promotions. She has developed a very special bond with TNA Wrestling over time to the point of becoming an Authority on the company. The French Nygma, as she loves to call herself, has been a wrestling writer and editor for nearly a decade for SteelChair Magazine/Wrestling SC, TWM and Distortion Media. She has interviewed hundreds of wrestlers from WWE, MLW, TNA, NXT, AEW, and many more promotions. The Nygma is now the new “Authority” on TNA Wrestling and NXT for Last Word on Pro Wrestling. The writer/editor also runs @3WWrestling, her own platform.
