It is hard to believe but the last time…is less than a week away as Saturday Night’s Main Event XLII featuring John Cena’s final match, takes place this Saturday on December 13. WWE has been building up to this monumental event for months, starting with Cena’s own announcement at the last SNME, that there would be a tournament to determine his final challenger. The results of the tournament held firm to what the rumors said and on Saturday, Cena will take on Gunther for the first time and the last time. It was also Cena’s will that this not be a John Cena tribute show and more be a showcase of the bright future for WWE. In addition to Cena’s final bow, the card will feature main roster talent taking on NXT talent which will feature more first-time ever matches.
The card is beginning to take shape with more matches to be announced in the coming days. But before we get into that, here is what we know so far and all of the details on how to watch the greatest of all time say his final goodbye.
