#1: Team Cena vs. Team Authority (Survivor Series 2014)
Out of all of the elimination matches Cena partakes in at Survivor Series, this specific match was his top one. The stipulation was that if Team Authority loses, then Triple H and Stephanie McMahon must leave the WWE. Cena’s team was at odds with The Authority due to one of Cena’s partners, Big Show, betraying Cena by hitting him with the WMD. Seth Rollins would take advantage of this betrayal by pinning Cena to eliminate him from his match.
Cena’s elimination left Dolph Ziggler alone to go against the remaining three members of Team Authority. Ziggler was pulling up a fight as he eliminated Luke Harper and Kane. When it was down to Ziggler and Rollins, Triple H took matters into his own hands by hitting Ziggler with a Pedigree.
The moment the referee counted the pin for Rollins, Sting made his debut in the WWE, and he sure made his mark. Sting hit Triple H with a Scorpion Death Drop and rolled Ziggler on top of Rollins for the pin. This gave Cena’s team the victory as Ziggler was the sole survivor. Cena came to the stage to congratulate Ziggler and celebrate the team’s victory.
