8. 7th WWE Championship Reign (3/28/10 – 6/20/10)
Cena’s feud with Batista over the WWE Championship in 2010 isn’t spoken about enough. Cena captured his seventh WWE Championship after he regained the title from the Animal at WrestleMania 26. However, Batista was set to leave WWE in 2010, with Cena besting Batista in two further title rematches.
The Nexus debuted in June 2010 and wreaked havoc in WWE. Cena fell victim to the Nexus’ interference, dropping the WWE Championship to Sheamus once again in a fatal-4-way match.
