Why WWE is Setting Up Lash Legend for Success

Fans of WWE NXT have known about Lash Legend for several years now. She has been a staple in the NXT women’s division. Being a part of the faction Meta Four was a massive boost to her career. The group was both entertaining and very skilled in the ring. Tag teaming with Jakara Jackson brought her great success as well. However, the past couple of months brought major changes that directly affected her.

With Jackson and Oro Mensah released and Noam Dar injured, she had to reinvent herself. She did that in a huge way by putting herself on WWE management’s radar. An amazing showing at the Evolution Battle Royal got eyes on her. Four months later, she debuted on the main roster, helping Nia Jax. Since then, she has gone on to do great things that will definitely help her have a great main roster career.

Legend was Immediately Placed into WarGames

Legend has appeared on Friday Night SmackDown before on several occasions. She showed main roster audiences her athletic ability, but wasn’t called up. Her appearance on the November 7, 2025, episode of SmackDown marked her official call-up to the main roster.

The following Raw had her summoned for WarGames by an angry Rhea Ripley. Having her be a part of such an important match weeks after her call-up shows that WWE trusts her. She’s improved massively in NXT, and her previous appearances were impressive. Adding to that, she was a huge part of her team’s attack on Ripley’s team on last Friday’s SmackDown.

She’s being presented as a formidable force of nature and not just as Jax’s friend, which is smart. Her size and strength definitely help her do damage in the ring. Having her in WarGames is a great introduction for the main roster audience.

She Has a Ready Made Tag Team with Nia Jax

Jax admitted that she brought Legend to the main roster because of their match on NXT. But given how she debuted, it’s a big preview into her potential future, at least right now. She came in attacking Alexa Bliss to give Jax the victory over Charlotte Flair. The following week, the Kabuki Warriors claimed back the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships after her and Jax attacked Bliss and Flair.

They might be allies of convenience now, but it’s clear what the future holds for the four of those women once WarGames is done. There’s no way they’d split up her and Jax after a few weeks. They will be a central part of the women’s tag team division, potentially facing off against the Kabuki Warriors for the titles. Her and Jax aligned to shake up the division and win tag team gold of their own.

She’s Being Presented as a Future Star

There have been tons of instances of fans hyping up developmental prospects. They have done great things in NXT, such as beating familiar faces and winning championships.

However, for one reason or another, some of them fail on the main roster. It could be because of injuries, not getting over with the crowd, or something else. But there are some that have had the same or even more amount of success.

So far, Legend looks to be in the latter category. She’s being presented as an equal to Jax, not as a lackey or a rookie. Her impact so far has helped establish her as a big threat. Plus, putting her in WarGames shows how much trust WWE management has in her, considering she just got to the main roster. If she succeeds in WarGames, then WWE might have another future star on its hands.
