Tickets For NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 Goes On Sale October 1st

Tickets for NJPW’s biggest event, Wrestle Kingdom, will be available worldwide starting October 1. It will be the 20th edition of the annual show held in the Tokyo Dome every 4th of January. To celebrate, NJPW held a press conference outside of Kabukicho Tower in Tokyo on September 30, where they had company president Hiroshi Tanahashi and young lion Aaron Wolf speak in front of the fans.

The Road to Wrestle Kingdom 20 in 2026

Fans didn’t mind the rain, as they flocked to the venue to watch and listen to both men who are set to compete at Wrestle Kingdom 20. Tanahashi will wrestle his retirement match while Wolf is set to make his pro-wrestling debut.

The pro-wrestling world will see Tanahashi’s decorated 26-year career come to an end 96 days from the press conference. While he will not be under the spotlight after that, he will still be a public pro-wrestling figure as NJPW’s current president.

The weather didn’t dampen Tanahashi’s good mood in front of the fans. He even joked that he is doing all he can with the remaining 96 days of his career, ‘finding the abs that have been hiding for the last four years.’ As for the debuting rookie, Wolf talked about his daily routine and training in the NJPW dojo. He told the fans and media that he trains just like all the current young lions daily at 10 a.m. from Monday to Saturday.

Wolf also sounded off on the challenges he’s faced during training, transitioning from the world of judo. He said that the toughest ones he’s had to handle so far were conditioning and calf muscle pain. Aaron Wolf is a judoka who won gold medals in the 2017 World Judo Championships and the 2020 Olympics. He announced signing with NJPW back on June 23 this year.

Tanahashi also teased a new, one-time-only ring gear for his final match, while Wolf mentioned he has plans for his entrance that will be kept secret until January 4 itself. Fans worldwide can get the chance to see what those two have in store live at the Tokyo Dome when they purchase their tickets for the show that will be available starting tomorrow.
