The Path to TNA Bound For Glory has been raging on. This long road until the October 12 PLE will have another PLE stop: Victory Road on September 26. So, many things could happen until Bound For Glory. This also includes TNA iMPACT and WWE NXT every week.
The iMPACT preview was clear. With only matches announced, the episode would be non-stop action. Let’s Nygma-dive into the episode, as there are some things to say about it (as always).
TNA iMPACT Results (9/11/25)
- Moose defeated AJ Francis.
- Joe Hendry defeated Travis Williams.
- Winner gets a shot at the X-Division Championship – 4-Way Match: Myron Reed defeated Jake Something, Zachary Wentz, and Trey Miguel.

Teams Spirit
Victoria Crawford hosted the debut episode of her new podcast with Gia Miller as her guest. Crawford blamed Miller for the suspension of her friend, Tessa Blanchard, after Blanchard brutally assaulted Miller at Slammiversary. Jody Threat came to Miller’s defense. Nygma says: Blanchard vs Miller would be a cool match, VixTess (Blanchard and Crawford) vs Miller & Threat would be super cool.

If Leon Slater was on commentary, Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel, Myron Reed, and Jake Something could be sure he would not interfere. The Rascalz teamed up in the early going to take Something off his feet. The Rascalz then turned their attention to each other, and the fight was on. Reed hit a 450 to pin Something and become the No. 1 Contender in a must-watch match. Nygma says: Miguel and Wentz raising Reed’s arm is a show of respect I wish I could see more often.

The System’s Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers were confident ahead of their tag team match against The Nemeths. They were forgetting Mustafa Ali. Edwards and Myers had the match in the palm of their hands, and Ali sent The Great Hands to the ringside. Edwards neutralized them, but Nic Nemeth capitalized on the chaos, putting Edwards away with the Danger Zone.
After the bell, The Nemeths revealed that they are invoking their contractual rematch against The Hardys for the TNA World Tag Team Championship next week. The Hardys were here, and they want revenge. The Nemeths retreated. Nygma says: Could Ali Almighty just take care of the voices in his head and let us enjoy some good matches?

Factions Disorder
Joe Hendry was supposed to face Eric Young. What Hendry didn’t know was that the match had been changed earlier. Before the match began, Young provided a distraction while Travis Williams attacked Hendry from behind. The referee ejected Judas Icarus and Young, which made it easier for Hendry to win.
After the match, Eric Young and Judas Icarus returned to the ringside. Young was about to punish Williams for his loss, but Icarus stepped in. Young took them both out with a series of Piledrivers. Nygma says: I told you in the preview, the Northern Armory was not very cleanse-prone. Now, they will have to face Eric Young’s wrath. Good luck, guys…

Jessie McKay was meant to face H by Elegance. With Cassie Lee, M by Elegance, and The Personal Concierge at ringside, the word “meant” was appropriate. H won because she pulled McKay’s hair, and M and the Personal Concierge got involved. Cassie Lee then attacked the Elegance Brand.
Director of Authority Santino Marella announced that Lee will face M by Elegance right now. M didn’t get this one, as McKay neutralized H and let Lee show M what she is capable of. Nygma says: I never had Barbie© dolls when I was young. Maybe that’s why I can’t stand them.

Singles Loneliness
Sometimes, the threat doesn’t come from the inside. Moose faced AJ Francis. No Rich Swann or the System to support them, but Mustafa Ali on commentary to provide a distraction. Francis tried to use the referee as a shield. A member of Ali’s Secret Service got up on the apron, and Ali inadvertently struck Francis. Moose capitalized with a Spear. Nygma says: Ali says he is hearing some voices. The only thing I can “hear” right now is the words of Moose challenging Ali, one-on-one, at Victory Road. May Moose shut Ali up.

The Personal Concierge got more than he bargained for when the TNA Director of Authority, Santino Marella, broke the news. At Victory Road, Indi Hartwell will be the Special Referee for the TNA Knockouts World Championship No-DQ Match “by Elegance” between Ash by Elegance and Masha Slamovich.
Also, Heather and M By Elegance will defend the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Titles against The IInspiration at Victory Road. Finally, next Thursday on iMPACT, it will be The Elegance Brand vs. Masha Slamovich and The IInspiration in 6-Knockout tag team action. Nygma says: I love Milan Miracles.

Mike Santana was set to be in action, but TNA World Champion Trick Williams blindsided him. The fight spilled into the ringside area, where security broke it up. Santana seemed to have enjoyed that. Nygma says: No title defence for 50 days has never meant no attacks for 50 days.

The Nygma’s Last Word(s)
Except for the System bouts and the 4-Way match, this iMPACT episode was not my cup of tea. Despite all the good things I saw, the bad ones tarnished my enjoyment. I hope Moose will crush Ali’s bones one after another. I wish I could slap the Nemeths in the face myself.
There’s a chapter TNA has to close fast: the Ali/System one. “Ali Almighty” is hell to listen to and watch. Then, if I talked about Barbie©, I really feel like the TNA Knockouts are currently not depicted as they should be, as singles or tag teams. I want fighters in the ring, not paper dolls.
The name “After The Bell” may have disappeared, but the Nygma spirit of the pieces will never disappear. If you want a dishonestly honest Nygma point of view, you’ll always find it here. Until next week, may the Nygma be with you.
