Ethan Page has been establishing himself in WWE NXT, and particularly with his recent entertaining alliance with Chelsea Green, which took off around NXT Heatwave. Fans have noticed his on-screen presence and his experience in televised wrestling and think that he is ready to make his main-roster debut. Unfortunately, while the fans may want it, WWE may have other plans, at least for now, for Ethan Page.
No Plans for RAW or SmackDown For Now
Although his popularity is increasing, WWE does not apparently have any short-term intentions to call up Ethan Page to either RAW or SmackDown. As of now, his future is very much still linked to NXT, and we will see him on the Tuesday night program for a little bit longer. Fortunately, Page has his fair share of supporters, specifically, one Chelsea Green, who is not keeping it a secret about how she notices the potential of Page.
Reports say that she has repeatedly suggested moving Ethan Page to the main roster so their act can perform on a bigger platform. This has not been an undercover push either- she has made her position quite evident in an interview with USA Today, stating that she feels that both of them can do well outside of NXT.
What WWE Creative Is Saying
Fightful Select pointed out that Chelsea Green has been aggressively and persistently pushing WWE creative to add Ethan Page to the main roster, mainly due to her desire to see the duo make that next step. The idea is on the table, though it is currently on hold.
Ethan Page will keep gaining momentum in NXT in the meantime. Green is on his side, and fans are behind him. It may only be a matter of time before WWE changes its mind about him and calls him up to the stage that many fans are ready to see him on.

Final Thoughts
The future of Ethan Page may be in NXT, yet his current momentum and the tireless work of Chelsea Green make it evident that a main roster opportunity is in the not-so-far-off future. Although WWE creative has not yet pulled the trigger, Page has already more than proven that he has the charisma and the ability to succeed on a larger scale. When the time arrives, whether it’s on SmackDown or RAW, the WWE Universe will be more than happy to welcome Ethan Page with open arms on the main roster.
