TNA iMPACT Results And Review (9/4/25) – A Flaming Path to TNA Bound For Glory

The Path to TNA Bound For Glory has been raging on. This long road until the October 12 PLE will have another PLE stopVictory Road on September 26. So, many things could happen until Bound For Glory. This also includes TNA iMPACT and WWE NXT every week. The iMPACT preview was clear. With five matches announced, the episode would be all about action. Let’s Nygma-dive into the episode, as there are some things to say about it (as always).

TNA iMPACT Results (9/4/25)

  • Frankie Kazarian defeated Matt Cardona
  • TNA Knockouts World Title #1 Contendership Triple Threat Match: Indi Hartwell defeated Dani Luna and Jody Threat
  • Mixed Six-Man Tag Team Match: Mara Sadé & The Hardys (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy) defeated Order 4 (Jason Hotch, John Skyler & Tasha Steelz) (w/Agent 0)

The Nygma’s View

Heaven’s Doors

Director of Authority Santino Marella kicked off the show. Marella finished the announcement he was about to make last week… Mike Santana will challenge Trick Williams for the TNA World Championship on October 12 at Bound For Glory. Santana addressed Williams, who has vowed not to show up in TNA until he is required to defend his title. No problem for Santana, he will show up on Trick’s home turf instead. Nygma says: A Milan Miracle, and finally, the match we have all been waiting for.

Dani Luna, Jody Threat, and Indi Hartwell collided for a future Knockouts World Title opportunity at TNA Bound For Glory. Dani Luna remained focused. In the end, Hartwell and Threat exchanged pin attempts, with Hartwell gaining the upper hand to score the victory. After the match, Luna delivered a blindside assault to Threat and Hartwell. Nygma says: Dani Luna is unhinged to a point that it could cost Hartwell the belt at Bound For Glory. Again, time will tell.

The Elegance Brand held a Knockouts World Title Celebration for the new TNA Knockouts World Champion, Ash By Elegance. Ash called herself the “savior of TNA” when Masha Slamovich interrupted. Slamovich had some breaking news: she will challenge Ash for the TNA Knockouts World Championship at Victory Road.

Slamovich promised to prove that Ash’s victory was a fluke. The brawl was on as The Elegance Brand beat down Slamovich. Léi Ying Lee and Xia Brookside evened the odds. The IInspiration also made their presence felt, sending The Elegance Brand retreating. Nygma says: The portrait destruction is a funny must-watch. With a cake in the face, I would be crying-laughing.

Joe Hendry was in the ring to address the attack at the hands of Eric Young last week. Young made his way to the top of the ramp alongside The Northern Armory. Young thought that Hendry was the problem, and he was willing to do whatever it took to fix it. Young said that “the cleanse” will start with Hendry. Hendry challenged him to a match right here tonight, but Young wants to do it on his terms, next week. Nygma says: How could he cleanse Hendry if he doesn’t prepare the best ingredients for a good one?

TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys and Mara Sadé were out for revenge on Order 4, but facing Tasha Steelz and The Great Hands could have been different without Agent 0. Even if he interfered in the match and got ejected from ringside, he could come back later. Sadé and the Hardys grabbed the win, and Agent 0 didn’t come back.

Instead, Nic Nemeth and his brother wiped out The Hardys. Mara Sadé came to their defense, but Nic hit her with a superkick. The Nemeths stood tall with the TNA World Tag Team Titles. Nygma says: They asked for a rematch; the Nemeths will have a rematch. Then, their methods and attitude make me sick.

Somewhere in Between

Ryan Nemeth reminded the world that his big brother, Nic Nemeth, was returning from suspension tonight. Matt Cardona got into it with Nemeth before his match against Frankie Kazarian. It seems like Kazarian found an ally in Ryan Nemeth, as his constant interference during the bout led Kazarian to the win. Nygma says: I said multiple times the Nemeths have no friends in TNA Wrestling. They seemed to have finally found one. Where are we going with this new alliance? Time will tell.

After the match, Frankie Kazarian revealed to Gia Miller that his sights are set on the TNA International Championship, held by Steve Maclin. Kazarian retreated when Maclin made his way to the ring and challenged Kazarian to a fight. Nygma adds: Even if I’m not that surprised, the TNA International Championship is not exactly Kazarian’s ultimate goal, unless there’s a hidden option from International to World Championship.

Director of Authority Santino Marella informed TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater that The Rascalz are once again cleared for competition. Slater stated he wanted the best competition possible and quoted Jake Something, Zachary Wentz, and Trey Miguel as opponents of choice. Nygma says: Whatever Santino Marella is cooking, Leon Slater may become a happy Champion, and the fans could be more than amazed next week.

The Best of The Rest

  • Moose wished Mike Santana good luck against Trick Williams at Bound For Glory. AJ Francis interrupted them and got into a verbal altercation with Moose, who laid out the challenge for a match between them next week.
  • Following their victory over Fatal Influence last week, The IInspiration were keeping a close eye on tonight’s Knockouts World Title Celebration with The Elegance Brand.
  • Mustafa Ali delivered a warning message to The System.
  • Via social media, TNA World Champion NXT’s Trick Williams reacted to the announcement that he must defend the TNA World Title against Mike Santana at Bound For Glory. Williams said that he still has no intention of showing up at TNA anytime soon.

The Nygma’s Last Word(s)

When TNA iMPACT is live, things are different. Only 35 minutes of action out of a 90-minute episode, that’s not enough. The episode was messy, but for some reason, I loved it. The unpredictability aspect of the live show worked. Also, the path to TNA Bound For Glory is becoming more and more clear, but with one negative effect: the Victory Road card remains to be done.

Watch Steve Maclin and Frankie Kazarian’s Immersed documentaries on TNA+ and here. The Immersed series (the Diary ones, too)is excellent, thanks to Jorge Barbosa’s unique eye. The name “After The Bell” may have disappeared, but the Nygma spirit of the pieces will never disappear. I’ll see you tomorrow with all the taping spoilers. Until next week, may the Nygma be with you.
