Mike Santana & Trick Williams; TNA World Championship at TNA Bound For Glory 2025 – Everything to Know

Last night, on TNA iMPACT, the TNA Director of Authority, Santino Marella, made official the main event of TNA Bound for Glory. In a match that every TNA Wrestling fan has been looking forward to for months, Mike Santana will face NXT’s Trick Williams for the TNA World Championship.

At TNA Slammiversary, Mike Santana, Trick Williams, and Joe Hendry were involved in a Triple Threat match for the TNA World Championship. Santana was moments away from capturing the gold in his hometown of New York when Williams, who had feigned an injury, escaped with his title.

Long Overdue for Mike Santana

Santana was determined to earn another opportunity and, following a series of victories, one of which was a pinfall over Williams in tag team competition, Santana was deemed the rightful #1 Contender by TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella.

Williams would attempt legal action in hopes of avoiding another match with Santana, but was unsuccessful. Now, Santana and Williams will meet one-on-one with the TNA World Title up for grabs. Will Santana complete his Path of Purpose and bring home the TNA World Championship? Or will the Trick-NA era continue?

Also, as announced at TNA Slammiversary, Team 3D (Bubba Ray and D-Von) and The Hardys will face one last time at TNA Bound For Glory. It’s been a long time since these two legendary teams faced off in the squared circle. As fans know, both were part of a legendary three-team war over championships and doubles supremacy, cultivating unforgettable matches along the way.

TNA Bound For Glory airs live at 8 PM EST on Sunday, October 12, on pay-per-view and TNA+ from the Tsongas Center in Lowell, MA.
