MLW War Chamber 2025 is the show that hardcore wrestling fans can’t miss. Since 2019, this signature special has featured the return of one of the most feared structures in the sport: the War Chamber. This is a caged fortress constructed of unforgiving carbon steel, wrapped in barbed wire and built for one purpose: total warfare.

The Nygma’s View
Matches Facts
MLW debuted its brand-new lightning match format (a CMLL match concept, with an all-action 10-minute time limit). Ariel Dominguez dared to step into the fire first. He suplexed Myron Reed and scrambled with speed, but his explosive offense couldn’t keep up with the returning Reed.
Reed, rocking the swagger of a Young GOAT, came in laser-focused and unleashed a fury of springboard cutters, flying knees, and aerial counters that left Dominguez reeling. The final two minutes turned into a sprint. Dominguez hit a snap German suplex and nearly stole the win, but Reed popped up and landed a picture-perfect spinning kick, then a devastating stunner variation before finishing it with a crushing cutter for the three-count at 8:12.
Post-match, Reed grabbed the mic and reminded the world: “This is still my division!” With the Middleweight division heating up, Reed’s return is a serious shakeup and a warning shot to anyone wearing gold.

Kaiju Alert! A monster had risen from Lake Michigan. The panic set in, the sirens wailed, and the stadium shook as Shoko Nakajima rumbled into the Cicero Stadium, where the TJPW talent defeated Exo to become Champion.
Exo hit a Fisherman’s Buster and followed with a top-rope moonsault, but Nakajima, a relentless and joyful storm of destruction, fired back with a tornado DDT, climbed the ropes with ease, and crushed Delmi with a top-rope senton for the win. The crowd roared as Shoko roared louder. Long live Big Kaiju.

Troubled Moments
What was supposed to be an opening interview descended into absolute anarchy. Saint Laurent provoked MLW World Heavyweight Champion Matt Riddle to come out. Still, he got more than he bargained for when the SENTAI Death Squad, the unwavering and formidable arm of the CONTRA Unit, ambushed Riddle from behind.
The champ fought off the terror squad until Babathunder delivered a brutal blindside assault. As Riddle gasped for air, Mads Krügger stomped out, dragging a referee, holding the cash-in briefcase in one hand like a loaded weapon. It looked like the Black Hand of CONTRA was about to steal it all and trigger his title shot right then and there.

But then, Tom Lawlor exploded onto the scene with a garbage can to Mads’ back, and fists started flying like fireworks. What followed was a total meltdown of order until MLW President Cesar Duran, clearly delighted by the chaos, came out and saw an opportunity, a Chicago Street Fight.
From that moment, steel chairs, tables, and bodies flew in every direction. Riddle hit a crushing knee, but “The Disruptor” Donovan Dijak stormed in and leveled him, handing Krügger the win in the ugliest, most violent fashion possible. Post-match, Dijak and Saint Laurent gloated, but Krügger attacked Dijak.

When CozyMAX entered the arena, everything seemed smooth between Kojima and Okumura. But things unraveled quickly once the bell rang.
Their opponents, Blue Panther Jr. & Dark Panther, pushed the pace early with technical wizardry and sharp strikes, but CozyMAX responded with punishing lariats, machine-gun chops, and relentless corner assaults. For a while, it looked like the Japanese veterans had things under control.
Then came the implosion. After a miscommunication between Kojima and Okumura, the duo tumbled outside the ring and started jawing at each other.
They missed the referee’s 20-count, and the Panther brothers celebrated a count-out victory while CozyMAX argued in the aisle. The dysfunction was clear.

The War Chamber officially opened its gates to hell. Brett Ryan Gosselin entered first, swiping a crutch from the crowd. But his smugness was shattered when Matthew Justice stormed in, swinging a steel chair like an axe.
Soon after, CW Anderson entered, followed by Alex Kane, who suplexed everything in sight. When Bobby Fish entered, it looked like the Rogue Horsemen had this locked down. But the tide turned when Mr. Thomas entered the chamber, and then Brock Anderson.

The final entry, Paul London, flew in like a hurricane. Justice climbed the cage and dove with a savage elbow. Then, BRG and Brock Anderson had a miscommunication, resulting in BRG being defeated.
After the match, BRG and Brock Anderson erupted in a shouting match. Brock Anderson snapped, planting BRG with a DDT and walking out on the Horsemen. Fish and CW Anderson stood frozen, watching it all fall apart.
The Rogue Horsemen are finished.

Segments Things
- In Duran’s office, things were just as volatile as in the ring. MLW President Cesar Duran announced Salina de la Renta is now the new Vice President of Wrestler Relations. De la Renta wasted no time promising she’d be reshaping the roster.
- Hammerstone called out Ultimo Guerrero, demanding a one-on-one showdown. Will the first-ever MLW National Openweight Champion battle the current champ?
- Ikuro Kwon hacked into MLW airwaves with a dark, grainy promo declaring himself the Lucha Hunter. With eerie footage of him ripping Mistico’s mask away, Kwon vowed to end Mistico’s career, having already stolen his title and his pride. “Next, I take his legacy,” he growled. This wasn’t just a message. It was a threat.
- KENTA appeared via satellite from Tokyo, calling out Matt Riddle. On June 26 in NYC, we’ll see Riddle vs. KENTA for the World Heavyweight Title at MLW Summer of the Beasts.

The Nygma’s Last Words
MLW War Chamber was a cool wrestling show to watch. Matt Riddle was defeated. BRG got shut up.
Mads Krügger is closer than ever to the MLW World Heavyweight Championship. Nygma loves hardcore wrestling and Myron Reed, so happy Nygma. Shoko Nakajima’s entrance was cool.
Honestly, I don’t have a lot of bad things to say. The next MLW event will be Summer of the Beasts in NYC on June 26. Talents from TJPW, CMLL, NJPW, and NOAH, like KENTA, KUSHIDA, Yuki Kamifuku, and J-Pop Idol, Wakana Uehara, have already been announced. Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
