The world champions have been quite busy these days and it seems that schedule isn’t slowing down anytime soon for one of them as WWE announced as world heavyweight championship match for the WWE June 9th 2025 edition of Monday Night Raw.
WWE June 9th 2025 – Gunther Gets a World Title Rematch
Jey Uso defended his world championship against Seth Rollins on Raw last week and he’ll defend it again against Logan Paul at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The winner of that match will take on Gunther on the WWE June 9th 2025 Monday Night Raw live from Phoenix, Arizona. It will mark the second Raw defense of the title in a little over a month after it having not previously been defended on the flagship since around seven months ago.

Before Uso made his grand entrance to the ring, we saw Adam Pearce say to him that he wanted Uso to know first. Uso then made his way out and started addressing his upcoming challenge from Logan Paul at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He was interrupted by Gunther who told Uso he understood the pressure of being a champion because he’s been one most of his WWE career. But just because he understood didn’t mean his opinion of Uso changed. Gunther said he was a born champion and Uso wasn’t. Gunther said Uso should learn his place before happily sharing the news. On the WWE June 9th 2025 Monday Night Raw, it would be Gunther versus the winner of the Uso/Paul bout. Gunther said he hoped it was Uso so that he could outclass him in the ring and shut up him and the fans. Uso told Gunther he knew his place and it was in that ring with the title over his shoulder. He was going to take care of the Youtuber and then run it back with the Ring General.
That much remains to be seen but what is certain is WWE June 9th 2025 is going to be must-watch.
