Home State Hero Returns to WWE SmackDown After 3 Months

The WWE SmackDown card tonight took place in Dayton, Ohio, and the state got more than they bargained for on this beautiful Friday night. New Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega was deep in the trenches, needing a tag team partner to take on the Green Regime and “Secret HERvice” cohort Piper Niven. Fortunately for Vega, hometown girl Alexa Bliss was in the house.

We haven’t seen Alexa Bliss since Elimination Chamber: Toronto. Bliss was one of the last two competitors in that Women’s Chamber to crown the number one contender for the Women’s World Championship. She eventually fell to eventual winner Bianca Belair in a valiant effort. Alexa Bliss made her triumphant return to WWE at the Royal Rumble after two years away.

This Friday night, the five-time WWE Women’s Champion is more than ready to help Vega out and kickstart her momentum once again.

What did you think of the WWE SmackDown card tonight and the return of Alexa Bliss?
