WWE WrestleMania 41: Sunday Night Results & Highlights
IYO SKY (c) vs. Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley [Women’s World Championship Match]
This match immediately kicked off with high intensity from all three women in this match. Having a history that dates back to NXT, IYO SKY, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley have insane chemistry, and they put that on display here. Notably, Belair seemed to play into the crowd’s hostile reception and fully revel in it.
All three Superstars showed grit and a crazy amount of perseverance. At all points, all three of them were involved. Ultimately, SKY defied the odds to retain successfully, and what a way to solidify her reign and kick off WrestleMania 41 Sunday night!

Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest [Sin City Street Fight]
Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest’s rivalry has turned bitter over the last few weeks. So, it was not shocking that this match quickly moved to the outside and included the use of steel steps. As a young callback, McIntyre made sure to make yet another classic mid-match post on X.

Tables and chairs were brought out too, and they only added to the intensity. McIntyre’s selfie luck played out differently this year, as he managed to put Priest down for the three-count.

Bron Breakker vs. Penta vs. Finn Balor vs. Dominik Mysterio [Intercontinental Championship Fatal Four-Way Match]
Bron Breakker and Penta were making their WrestleMania debuts with this match, and they had two other opponents in Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio. Right at the start, Breakker goes after Mysterio, and this makes the two Judgement Day members work together to break down their adversaries. Soon enough, the breakdown between Balor and Mysterio shows itself, making this a serious fatal four-way.
Carlito got involved, but Breakker speared him right off the announce desk. In the end, it all got overwhelming for Breakker, and he did not even get to be involved in the loss of his title. Mysterio did a massive frog splash on Balor (who had subdued Breakker) and was crowned the new Intercontinental Champion.

Randy Orton’s Open Challenge
Randy Orton made his way down to the ring for his 20th WrestleMania, and he had an open challenge. The person to answer that open challenge was… TNA World Champion, Joe Hendry! For the most part, TNA wrestlers have been seen in NXT and at the Royal Rumble, so an appearance at WrestleMania is huge.

AT WRESTLEMANIA!

Hendry avoided an immediate RKO, but he did not get the win. Orton eventually got that RKO and picked up the victory. After the match, the two had a wholesome moment before Orton’s internal voices took over and he RKO’d him again.

AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul
AJ Styles and Logan Paul had their match, but the latter soon revealed the trick he had up his sleeve. Paul had his friend, Jeff, pull through with the brass knuckles, but before he could get them to him, Karrion Kross appeared and stopped it.
Kross then pleaded with Styles to use the brass knuckles to pick up the victory for himself, but Styles opted not to. Paul capitalized on these distractions and picked up the victory.

Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez (c) vs. Lyra Valkyria & Becky Lynch [Women’s Tag Team Championship Match]
Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez were determined to keep the Women’s Tag Team Championships in The Judgement Day, especially with Mysterio winning gold too. For this match, all eyes were on who Lyra Valkyria would get as a tag team partner, after her original partner (Bayley) was attacked on Saturday. That person was revealed to be Becky Lynch, who had her last match in May 2024.
Despite being out of action for so long, Lynch did not miss a step and, more importantly, she worked well with Valkyria. The two picked up the victory, ending Morgan and Rodriguez’s reign at 54 days, and making Valkyria a double champ. They already have their first challengers in Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley for the April 22 edition of NXT.

‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin Announces Attendance
‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin came out to announce the attendance of WrestleMania 41 Sunday. He came out on a four-wheeler, and he crashed into the barricade (yes, really). The Allegiant Stadium was sold out once again, this time having 63,226 people in attendance. In total, over 124,000 people attended both nights.

Cody Rhodes (c) vs. John Cena [Undisputed WWE Championship Match]
John Cena apparently meant it when he said the fans would get nothing from him, as he came out with a monochrome titantron and overall muted entrance. Cody Rhodes, on the other hand, had somewhat of a biker gang. The match got underway, with Cena dominating a majority of the match, but things would turn quickly.
The referee got knocked out, and this prompted Travis Scott to come out to offer assistance to Cena. Of course, this did not work out, as Rhodes vanquished him, but it did distract him. Cena would expose the turnbuckle and deliver a low-blow en route to winning the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Rhodes’ reign comes to an end at 379 days. Cena becomes the most accomplished WWE Champion of all time, claiming his record-breaking 17th WWE Championship.
