This week’s show continues the road to NXT Stand & Deliver. Three matches have been confirmed heading into the show. There will surely be more chaos that comes out of the night.

An explosive six-man tag team match will see Oba Femi, Trick Williams, and Je’Von Evans need to work together to take on three members of the Darkstate stable. Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker will attempt to resolve their issues with their singles match. Wes Lee and Yoshiki Inamura will also have a singles match of their own.

Here is all that went down on the April 8 edition of NXT.

WWE NXT Results (4/8/25)

Jordynne Grace vs. Jaida Parker

The show kicks off with NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer making her way to commentary. This was to get a closer look at the match between Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker, which could just produce her Stand & Deliver challenger. This was quite an electric match to start the show with.

Parker showcased a more well-rounded and diverse arsenal, but Grace’s strength was still on full display. The referee had no choice but to throw the match after Vaquer got involved, which led to a brawl between all three ladies. Former NXT Women’s Champion Giulia returned, initially seeming to help Vaquer, but she soon turned on her.

Swipe Right and Hank & Tank Backstage Segment

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger are backstage when WWE Evolve tag team Swipe Right approaches them. Being cocky, Swipe Right tell Hank & Tank to get their pens and papers ready for some lessons, but that will be after their fight.

The Culling Recalibrates Itself

The Culling has a meeting segment. Shawn Spears reminds the group that the group was always about the rest of them shining rather than him. It seems they have major plans for the night, as NXT Stand & Deliver draws near.

Fraxiom vs. Swipe Right

Swipe Right’s Bray Baylor and Ricky Smokes make their NXT debut, and they do so against NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom. Although this was a non-title match, this was all the way intense, and both sides brought their A-game. Swipe Right put up quite the fight but the more experienced team of Fraxiom ultimately proved why they are champions.

Fatal Influence Civil War Incoming?

Fatal Influence’s Jacy Jayne, Jazmyn Nyx, and Fallon Henley are backstage. Jayne and Henley get into it over who will be in the qualifying match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship ladder match tonight. Nyx blindsided them both by letting them know that she will be the one to represent their team, much to the dismay of Jayne and Henley.

Jazmyn Nyx vs. Sol Ruca

Jazmyn Nyx and Sol Ruca are accompanied to the ring by their partners as they try to qualify for the ladder match. Even though Fatal Influence tried to use their numbers to their advantage, Ruca managed to win. She joins Zaria and Kelani Jordan in that match.

Je’Von Evans Backstage Interview

Je’Von Evans has a backstage interview where he reminds everyone that he warned Trick Williams and Oba Femi about Darkstate. He also lets it be known that he is not trying to be like either of them, but he is lazer-focused on the NXT Championship match at Stand & Deliver.

Giulia Makes Her Intention Clear

Giulia is outside in the parking lot, and she does not have much to say, but she makes it clear what she is looking for. At Stand & Deliver, Giulia wants a rematch against Vaquer. Now, it remains to be seen whether that actually happens and how it will go down.

Hank & Tank vs. The Culling

Hank & Tank are still trying to gain momentum in the NXT tag team division, and they face quite the opponents in The Culling’s Brooks Jensen and Niko Vance. No matter what Hank & Tank try, The Culling is able to stay one step ahead, and this leads to them winning the match.

Ricky Saints Addresses NXT Universe

Newly-minted NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints comes out to the ring looking for Ethan Page. Instead, everyone else answers that call – Lexis King, Eddy Thorpe, and Wes Lee. But Page soon comes out, and this descends into full-on chaos.

Stephanie Vaquer Makes Her Decision

Backstage, Vaquer goes to NXT General Manager Ava’s office. She informs her that she has made her decision for Stand & Deliver. She wants all of them – Grace, Parker, and Giulia!

Trick Williams Backstage Interview

Williams has a backstage interview, and he makes it clear that he expects Evans and Femi to bring their A-game. He also takes the opportunity to remind everyone that he has been around longer than both Evans and Femi, and he is determined to claim the gold at Stand & Deliver.

Wes Lee vs. Yoshiki Inamura

Lee is fired up following that multi-man squabble, but he shifts his focus to Yoshiki Inamura. Initially dominated by Inamura, the tide of this match changed when Lee took over and won it all.

Oba Femi Sends A Message To Darkstate

Unlike his two partners for the night, Femi takes the approach of sending a direct warning to Darkstate. He acknowledges Williams and Evans, but he also emphasizes that he aims to focus on vanquishing Darkstate tonight.

Izzi Dame vs. Wren Sinclair

Spaces in the NXT Women’s North American Championship ladder match are closing up, and this is an opportunity for Izzi Dame and Wren Sinclair to qualify. Representing The Culling and No Quarter Catch Crew respectively, these two ladies are carrying their teams’ hopes on their backs as they head into the match. Dame disposes of Sinclair to qualify, making this a successful night for The Culling.

Ava Backstage Segment

Lash Legend, Jakara Jackson, and the three ladies of Fatal Influence are in Ava’s office asking for last chance matches to qualify for the ladder match. Roxanne Perez also joins in. Ava says she knows what she needs to do, and she has a plan.

Tag Team Supremacy Backstage

Backstage, Andre Chase gives advice to the ever-eager Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors. Hank & Tank get some advice from the WWE Tag Team Champions, The Street Profits.

Femi, Williams & Evans vs. Darkstate

It was always going to be an uphill battle for Femi, Williams, and Evans to work together. But they needed to just co-exist for a while if they wanted to stand a chance at thwarting Darkstate. The latter immediately pounced on their adversaries, and this was before the three could even be confirmed.

Saquon Shugars, Dion Lennox, and Cutler James were the three to be legal. This match was chaos right from the get-go, and the ending was no different. Williams and Femi’s egos got the best of them, and they ended up attacking each other, leaving Evans to fend off Darkstate by himself.

Darkstate managed to pick up the win but, before they could celebrate, someone had them marked. Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo appeared on-screen, and he challenged Darkstate to a fight next week… At the parking lot outside!
