WWE Raw Results & Analysis (4/7/25)

WWE Raw was blazing hot this past Monday night. Why, you ask? We’re here to explain as we deliver quick and full WWE Raw results and give you our concise takes on the most significant moments of the April 7th, 2025 edition of WWE’s premier program. Without further ado, let us all run it down.

Quick WWE Raw Results & Analysis (4/7/25):

  • Adam Pearce kicked off the show with WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley. Pearce officially made the affair for the title a Triple Threat Match.
  • Lyra Valkyria successfully defends the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against the last woman who beat her, Bayley
  • American Made and El Grande Americano defeated the LWO. Post-match, Rey Mysterio demanded that Adam Pearce sanction a match between him and Americano at WrestleMania 41
  • Jey Uso put WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther on notice, stating he’s going to bring back the title home come WrestleMania 41
  • The New Day won their World Tag Team Championship after Ivar blasted Xavier Woods with a steel chair. Unfortunately, the title cannot change hands via DQ. The challengers would beat down the champions after the match
  • Penta outlasted Dominik Mysterio after hitting a Penta Driver on the former NXT North American Champion. Earlier in the night, Adam Pearce announced a Fatal-Four Way Match for the Intercontinental Championship, pitting the two men in this match against Finn Balor and champion Bron Breakker. Breakker would enter proceedings, delivering a devastating Spear to interrupting Carlito. He would also Spear Penta out of his boots before Finn Balor got the best of him, and “The Prince” stood tall, hoisting up the title.
  • In the final segment of the night, Seth Rollins would convince Paul Heyman to remove himself from the equation, meaning the Triple Threat Main Event between Rollins, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns. Seth offered Heyman that he could “get rid of the problem.” Heyman refused, and Rollins threatened to hit him with The Stomp before CM Punk made the save. Unfortunately, Punk would be on the receiving end of The Stomp. After not obliterating Heyman, Seth Rollins stated that the “Wise Man” now “owes him a favor” to end the night.

Breaking Breakker?

For weeks, Bron Breakker has been dealing with three different challengers to his Intercontinental Championship. This week, with the announcement of Adam Pearce, Breakker doesn’t have to choose; he can’t. All men in this match have a claim to come out of WrestleMania 41 with the IC crown intact.

Let’s start with the champion. Bron Breakker has been an unstoppable menace since stepping on the main roster stage. Now, in his second reign with the title, Breakker looks more invincible than ever. In singles bouts, nobody could step to “The Badass.” That said, three other opponents could throw a wrench into this dominant reign.

But if anyone could rise to the occasion, it’s Bron Breakker. Finn Balor, on the other hand, has been hungry for gold. Over the past few years, Balor has been more sadistic in his quest to bring home gold to The Judgment Day. On this week’s Raw, Finn made a huge statement by standing atop everyone.

While some of it may be insignificant, this outcome puts Balor in the driver’s seat ahead of WrestleMania 41. The same could not be said for “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio. If Balor wants to restore the prominence of The Judgment Day, Dom wants to step out of its shadow.

Mysterio has shown up and showed night in and night out. But it feels like Dominik Mysterio wants to become more than just another piece in the Judgment Day puzzle. If there’s a dark horse in this match, it’s definitely Dominik Mysterio.

An IC Title win at ‘Mania 41 will cement Dom as “the guy” in The Judgment Day, which could spell trouble for the group if Balor sees it as a breach of trust rather than a victory for the group as a whole.

Finally, we get to Penta. The masked man has been absolutely killing it since arriving at WWE. He’s defeated the likes of Chad Gable, Ludwig Kaiser, Pete Dunne, and a man who’s also involved in this match, Dominik Mysterio. To say Penta has been on a roll is an understatement.

What would make this first year in WWE sweeter is if he could be the man to defeat all three of these combatants at the “Grandest Stage of them All.” It’s no doubt that the “fan favorite” is Penta, and that might be the difference-maker once the bright lights are up and the Intercontinental Championship is on the line.

All Stomped Out

Seth Rollins made a power move this past Monday night, trying to shake the loyalty of Paul Heyman to CM Punk. While Rollins’ intent may not be to steal Heyman away from Punk or even Roman Reigns, he has put a ton of doubt into the mind of the “Wise Man.”

When the WWE Universe thought CM Punk had the upper hand when he delivered a GTS to Reigns last week on WWE SmackDown, Rollins would turn the whole situation upside down. Now, this Triple Threat Match at WWE WrestleMania 41 could go either way. Last week, Punk had the momentum. This past Monday, Seth Rollins convincingly took the baton.

Now, what will Roman Reigns have up his sleeve to sway the wave of momentum to his side? We hope to find out this Friday night on WWE SmackDown or next week’s WWE Raw.

That’s all for the WWE Raw results and analysis for April 7th, 2025.
