Preview: WWE Raw (2/17/25) – Elimination Chamber Qualifiers & Major In-ring Return

WWE Raw is stacked, as has been the expectation since the show moved to Netflix. Here’s our full WWE Raw preview for the show from the Spectrum Center.

Charlotte, NC, will host WWE Raw this week, which streams live on Netflix at 8c.

WWE Raw Preview & Match Card (2/17/25):

  • Roxanne Perez vs. Raquel Rodriguez
  • Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor
  • Pete Dunne vs. Penta
  • AJ Styles vs “Dirty” Dom Mysterio

WWE Raw Preview: Elimination Chamber Final Spots

Finn Bálor and Seth Rollins want to get past each other to make the Elimination Chamber and earn a shot at Cody Rhodes and the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Bálor’s intention is clear. Rollins’ intent is muddied by ongoing beef with many of the men already qualified for the Chamber – Drew McIntyre, and CM Punk. ‘Unfinished business’ with Cody Rhodes is also clouding Rollins’ vision.

Both men have eyes on the prize, but Rollins seems distracted by what stands in his way.

Our vision for “The Visionary” is that a lack of clear focus on gold could cost him.

Meanwhile, Roxanne Perez is rewarded for an Iron Woman performance in the Royal Rumble with a Chamber qualifier against Raquel Rodriguez. Perez won’t be coming in fresh. Perez and Bayley continue their feud on Saturday. Cora Jade and Guilia will join the two women in a four-way match for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Vengeance Day.

That leaves Perez not as fresh and certainly not as big as Rodriguez. It’ll be quite the night for her if she does advance to the Elimination Chamber.

Other Matches

There are a few things we can trust about “Dirty” Dom Mysterio. Great hair. An absolute babe magnet. Chicken tender fanatic. And there’s absolutely no chance he’s letting anyone enjoy some mic time on WWE Raw, especially if they are new to the brand.

Dom interrupted AJ Styles during his big return promo last week. This week, AJ Styles looks to prove that Dom will never amount to anything more than his father’s son.

Ludwig Kaiser has stepped aside to allow Pete Dunne to have another crack at cracking Penta’s fingers from his hands. It seems Penta’s hot debut and talk of dream matches for the luchador has attracted the attention of WWE Raw’s attention-hungry heels.

Will Kaiser be good to his word to stay away from the match? Or can we expect to die Täuschung from the Germans?

Anything Else

Charlotte is Flair country, so Charlotte Flair might show up. But how will she be greeted?

There’s a new game to play over the next 10 weeks. How much of Jey Uso’s entrance can he get through before Gunther spoils it?

“The Ring General” broke up the party after one and a half go at everyone’s favourite entrance last week. Imagine the heat if Gunther stopped the whole circus before it began up in the concession stand.
