After the success of the first WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix, the promotion follows it up with an exciting WWE SmackDown. If Monday’s show is anything to go by, it will be one ridiculously good installment of everyone’s favorite Friday night professional wrestling and sports entertainment program. Without further ado, here’s a full WWE SmackDown preview for this week. Let’s run it down.
Full WWE SmackDown Match Card – 1/10/25
- New WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton Will Appear Live With A New Custom Championship
- United States Championship Match: Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. LA Knight
Golden Tiffy Time
The first 2025 episode of WWE SmackDown was the site of Tiffany Stratton’s ultimate triumph. Using the Money in the Bank briefcase that she earned last year, Stratton would zig and zag and finally capitalize on the moment.
After an assist from Bianca Belair and the briefcase that housed the contract, Stratton would exchange paper for a shot at the gold and came out on the other side as the new WWE Women’s Champion. This Friday, it’s officially “Tiffy Time,” as the champion appears live in front of the SmackDown crowd with a new personalized title in hand.
What will Tiffany Stratton have to say to the Friday night fight night crowd?
Championship. Match. Yeah!
NEXT WEEK! @RealLAKnight will face @ShinsukeN for the United States Championship πΊπΈ #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/oKo12fX9q0

LA Knight finally has the chance to exact his revenge and reclaim the United States Championship as he goes one-on-one with Shinsuke Nakamura for the gold. Nakamura came back to WWE and, not long after, dismantled LA Knight at Survivor Series 2024L WarGames to become U.S. Champion.
This Shinsuke Nakamura is no longer the fun-loving former NXT Champion that we all came to know and love. The “Wayward Samurai” is here for only one thing: to hunt for gold and blow by anyone he sees as an obstacle. This week, that’s LA Knight.
Knight will not be a slouch when it comes to this championship match, either, considering his crowning achievement is on the line. The “Megastar” will undoubtedly go out of his way to ensure he has the win and the title in hand.
That’s all for the WWE SmackDown preview for this week! Watch it all unfold this Friday night only on the USA Network!
