Preview: AEW Dynamite (7/27/22) – Fight For The Fallen

Fight for the Fallen 2022

All Elite Wrestling goes from strength to strength, as they bring fans another special edition of AEW Dynamite dubbed Fight For The Fallen 2022. After two amazing weeks of Fyter FestAEW looks to maintain the red-hot roll they’ve been on as of late. They look to accomplish this as three championship matches will commence this Wednesday night. Plus, the return of the “American Dragon” happens on this week’s Dynamite as he faces a royally ticked “Red Death.”

Three straight excellent weeks of wrestling, so little time. Let’s not keep anyone waiting any longer. It’s Wednesday night after all, and you know what that means! Time for some AEW Dynamite. Let’s run it down.

Full AEW Dynamite Match Card – Fight For The Fallen 2022

  • FTW Championship Match: Ricky Starks (c) vs. Danhausen
  • Handicap Match: Tony Nese & “Smart” Mark Sterling vs. Swerve Strickland
  • Bryan Danielson vs, Daniel Garcia
  • AEW Women’s World Championship Match: Thunder Rosa (c) vs. Miyu Yamashita
  • AEW Interim World Championship Match: Jon Moxley (c) vs. RUSH

Return of the Dragon

After unceremoniously pulling out of Forbidden Door and Blood and Guts, “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson finally makes his triumphant return inside an AEW ring. However, his return may be spoiled, as he will go up against a man who cannot be happy after his Ring of Honor Pure Championship Title match loss, Daniel Garcia. The technician of the Jericho Appreciation Society put on an excellent display last Saturday night at ROH’s Death Before Dishonor.

Unfortunately, Wheeler Yuta proved to be too much, as he beat Garcia without using a single rope break on his way to retaining the ROH Pure Championship. This will be one heck of a fight, with both men having a chip on their shoulders and something to prove. It’s Daniel Garcia versus Bryan Danielson; who will claim victory?

Thunder Up

Thunder Rosa will be in quite the fight this Wednesday night, as she defends the AEW Women’s World Championship against Joshi sensation Miyu Yamashita. The former three-time Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling Princess of Princess Champion looks to gain gold immediately in her AEW Dynamite debut. However, it will not be that easy. Thunder Rosa has welcomed and vanquished all challengers that dare stand in her way. While Yamashita is one of the best young prospects in the world today, she will have to step up her game as she goes up against AEW’s best.

Will Miyu Yamashita do the unthinkable and become champion on her first Dynamite? Or will Thunder Rosa overcome once again and remain champion? Find out this Wednesday night on a Fight for the Fallen 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite!
