Paramount Network’s long-running reality TV hit, Bar Rescue, is set to air the 19th episode of the eighth season on May 8th. But this time, host and bar rescue extraordinaire Jon Taffer won’t be alone, as AEW stars, Adam Cole and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., will be on hand. According to the description for the episode, “Jon heads to Tampa, Florida to help save an owner who has suffered personal loss and health scares while trying to single-handedly keep his struggling bar afloat.”
Baker was the first to break the news of the couple’s appearance on the show, with a tweet Friday night that showed a still of Baker, Cole, and Taffer in the car. From the image, it seems Cole and Baker will be part of Taffer’s reconnaissance team. It will be their job to go into the bar and get a sense of everything from the atmosphere, to the foodservice, to the quality of the drinks, interactions between the staff, and anything else a keen eye might notice.

Bar Rescue first began airing on Spike TV (now Paramount Network) in July 2011, starring Taffer, a long-time consultant who specialized in pubs, nightclubs, and bars over his 40-year experience in the restaurant and beverage industry. Taffer brings his attitude and expertise to the show, having successfully rescued hundreds of bars over the years. In the eighth season, which began airing in May 2021, Taffer and Bar Rescue have been focusing on helping the struggling hospitality industry by featuring bars and bar owners who were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
