Veer Mahaan Makes Monday Night Raw Debut, Attacks Mysterios

Veer Mahaan Debuts on Monday Night Raw

Since November of last year, WWE aired vignettes hyping the Monday Night Raw debut of Veer Mahaan. The company wasn’t exactly forthcoming with a specific date; regardless, WWE continued to tease said debut, which would become something of a meme among wrestling fans. However, on the post-WrestleMania edition of Raw, Veer Mahaan made his debut on the “red brand.” He did so in major fashion, too, establishing himself as one of the new stars on the show to keep an eye on.

What to Know Following Long-Awaited Debut

During the first hour of Raw, The Miz defeated Dominik Mysterio in quick fashion. Following this victory, Veer Mahaan made his way to the ring. The Miz quickly exited the ring, leaving Dominik and Rey Mysterio as Mahaan stepped through the ropes. Mahaan quickly set his sights on the Mysterio family, laying out Rey and cinching in a submission hold on Dominik to choke him out. Though his debut was a short one, Mahaan quickly made a statement by attacking the son-and-father tag team.

Following a brief stint on the NXT brand, Veer Mahaan made his way to the main roster in May of 2021. Initially, he was aligned with Shanky and Jinder Mahal as a faction. However, following that year’s draft, Mahaan remained on Raw while Shanky and Mahal were drafted to Friday Night SmackDown. In the interim, prior to his Raw debut, Mahaan competed on WWE Main Event.
