#AndNEW: MSK Win Second NXT Tag Team Championship at Stand & Deliver

MSK Win Second NXT Tag Team Championship

The NXT Tag Team Championship was on the line at NXT Stand & Deliver. During the show, the reigning champions, Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner of Imperium defended the gold against MSK, the duo of Nash Carter and Wes Lee, and The Creed Brothers (Brutus and Julius Creed) of Diamond Mine. The Creed Brothers entered this match as the winners of the 2022 Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. MSK came into this match with experience on their side, having won the NXT Tag Team Championship once before. Their luck would strike again, too; once the closing bell rang, it was MSK that stood victorious as 2x NXT Tag Team Champions.

What to Know Following Title Victory at Stand & Deliver

With this victory, MSK stand as one of only three teams that have held the NXT Tag Team Championship on multiple occasions. The other two units that hold this distinction are The Revival, currently known as FTR in All Elite Wrestling, and The Undisputed Era in different forms. MSK first won the NXT tag team titles at last year’s Stand & Deliver, besting Grizzled Young Veterans and Legado Del Fantasma in a triple threat match to do so. From there, Nash Carter and Wes Lee held the gold for 202 days, defending it against such duos as Drake Maverick and Killian Dain, as well as Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher, just to name a few examples. Their reign came to an end at last year’s NXT Halloween Havoc event, where they lost the NXT tag team titles to Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner.
