Preview: NWA Powerrr (12/14/21) – Dirty Dango Makes In-Ring Debut

NWA Powerrr Dirty Dango Debut

On this week’s edition of NWA Powerrr, fans will see the National Wrestling Alliance in-ring debut of a man in tune with the art of dance. Formerly known as Fandango in WWE, Dirty Dango will make his in-ring debut, stepping into an NWA ring for the very first time. In addition, the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championship will be on the line as the current titleholders take on an established veteran and a star on the rise. Let’s take a deeper look at the action set to take place tonight at 6:05 PM EST on FITE.

NWA Powerrr Card (12/14/21) – Dirty Dango In-Ring Debut

  • Dirty Sexy Boys (Dirty Dango and JTG) vs. Kratos and Aron Stevens
  • Mike Knox Will Be in Action
  • NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championship: The Hex (Allysin Kay and Marti Belle) (c) vs. Mickie James and Kiera Hogan
  • Father James Mitchell Sounds Off
  • Strictly Business Sends a Message

Dirty Dango and JTG in Action

In one of the tag team contests of the evening, JTG and the aforementioned debuting Dirty Dango will take on former NWA World Tag Team Champions Kratos and Aron Stevens. Dirty Dango made his official NWA debut earlier this month at Hard Times 2. Following the NWA tag team title match that night, he appeared alongside JTG, the duo making their intentions for gold known to titleholders La Rebelión. Before they can get their hands on said gold, the newly christened team of Dirty Sexy Boys will take on Kratos and Stevens. At Hard Times 2, they were unsuccessful in dethroning The OGK for the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championship, though it would seem that Stevens’s new aggression has met the approval of Kratos. Can they come out of NWA Powerrr with a victory at the expense of JTG and the debuting Dango?

The World Women’s Tag Team Titles Will Be Defended

Also set for this week’s NWA Powerrr is a tag team title match. The reigning NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Hex, will defend their gold against Mickie James and Kiera Hogan. At Hard Times 2, James defended the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Championship against Hogan. James was up against a steep challenge in the form of the young 2x IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championship, but the match ultimately resulted in a win for “Hardcore Country.” On tonight’s show, opponents become allies as they challenge Allysin Kay and Marti Belle for the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championship. This match marks The Hex’s fifth title defense and between the experience of James and the tenacity of Hogan, one can only predict that this encounter will be a competitive one.
